I'm not electronics inclined so setup has been a real challenge. I can't get the TV lip motion synced with the sound bar output. I an also having difficulty getting the TV speakers and sound bar output working simultaneously. I have a Samsung 65" QLED 90T flat panel TV. The reason I purchased the Samsung HW-Q60T sound bar over others was this feature and I can't get it to work.

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung HW-Q60T Soundbar System. I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues using Q-Symphony which allows the Soundbar to sync with a Samsung TV to bring your sound through two devices for optimum surround effect.
Q-Symphony is only available when you connect the soundbar to the TV using an HDMI cable or an optical cable. You will also need to change the source on your soundbar to D.IN. To do this, press Source on the soundbar’s remote until “D.IN” appears.
When the Samsung Soundbar is connected, the menu name such as "TV + Soundbar" appears under Sound Output (Settings > Sound > Sound Output). Select the menu. (Example: TV + [AV] Soundbar series name (HDMI) or TV + Optical)
It can operate according to the Codec supported by TV. This function is supported only when the HDMI Cable or Optical Cable (not supplied) is connected.
Q-Symphony is not supported by Multi View.
Please make sure you are running the latest firmware update which includes improved connectivity. You can update your firmware ver. 1001.8 by Auto Update, using the SmartThings app, or by using a USB device.

I initially connected it to my Samsung TV with HDMI cables. But had major problems. Eventually talked to BB guy who explained that this is a frequent Samsung problem with HDMI TV/soundbar connection. He suggested using digital optical connection option. This was a good but not perfect fix. Now I get infrequent, very brief (< second) sound gap.
