Although the bass is not thundering, it is sufficient for those who live in apartments, co-ops, and condominiums. An added feature is that the equipment "blends with" Samsung television audio, as opposed to being an isolated device. This results in an immersive and enveloping sound presence.

It turns on automatically when the TV is turned on, and it can be turned off if you want to watch TV without disturbing someone in the next room. Originally, the sound would briefly cut out every 15 seconds or so, but we returned that defective one, and the replacement works perfectly.

I use it with a Samsung Q80T TV. When the sound bar is turned up loud when watching a movie, it sounds great! However, when the volume is low, I have noticed that the sound bar makes a white noise like sound sometimes. It’s sometimes subtle, sometimes not. I especially noticed it when navigating menus on my Nintendo Switch and playing a few games like Animal Crossing. I tested it another older Samsung TV I have, and it has the same problem. Not sure if this is a problem with just mine or if it happens with all of them, but for $400, you would hope to get a sound bar that doesn’t have a white noise/static sound.

Thank you for sharing your user experience with the Samsung HW-Q60T Soundbar. I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues with white noise. When you hear white noise coming from your soundbar, it could be from a bad signal from the TV or a poor connection. It could also be caused by interference by mobile devices placed nearby. Be sure to move phones and tablets at least 3 feet away, and make sure that all cables are firmly connected to the soundbar at both ends. Please make sure you have the latest firmware update. Setting can be tough to adjust at first. I would add the rear wireless speakers for full surround sound. It makes a difference. I only lower the stars for ease of use and capability with Sony TV
