    Buy the Hw-T550 2.1 ch it's better than this one

    Upgraded from a Samsung - HW-T550 2.1ch Soundbar and boy was I disappointed I figured I go with a 5.1 channel and things would be louder and better but the truth of the matter is the cheaper sound bar bass is way better than this bass also when I play the Dolby Audio / DTS Virtual:X on this sound bar it sounds distorted but on the cheaper version it's so loud and clear

      Hi Fiel,

      I am sorry to see that you are not completely happy with the performance of the Samsung HW-Q60T soundbar featuring audio-enhancing technologies like Acoustic Beam for directional sound, Adaptive Sound mode to optimize content, and wireless subwoofer for deep bass.

      Please try these tips to improve performance:

      1) Check that the soundbar is correctly positioned correctly with the SAMSUNG logo facing up towards the ceiling. We have found that many customers are misplacing the soundbar with the SAMSUNG logo perpendicular to the floor (facing you when seated), with the unit resting on the speakers, resulting in muffled sound.

      There are two adjustments that can be made to maximize bass from the soundbar and subwoofer:
      1) Using the WOOFER button on the remote, you can adjust the volume of the subwoofer between -6 to +6 by toggling the button up or down. To set the subwoofer volume level to 0, press the button in.

      2) Adjust the bass control by pressing the SOUND CONTROL button (gear icon) on the remote control, then select BASS to increase the level. You can adjust the volume between -6 to +6 by using the Up/Down buttons.

      For precise audio adjustments, you can use the 7-band frequency equalizer to optimize the sound for your room acoustics.

    Decent soundbar. Quite a few settings that seem unnecessary for our use but are maybe important to others. Was a little difficult to get set-up with our LG TV (which isn't the top of the line, so TV may not have done the setup any favors). Nice to be able to change setting to emphasize speaking sounds so easy to understand voices, especially in fast-moving movies.

    still getting used to this soundbar. I am currently on vacation at a lake house and I do not have a tv or soundbar here.

    The volume is just standard. I expected to boom the house coz you have to add volume up to 44 to have it loud.

    DTS-X function is excellent. Only complaint is the soundbar drowns the subwoofer. Returned it and purchased the HW-Q80R.

    I could not get the soundbar to work with my Samsung TV. I spent 30 minutes on the phone with Samsung Support with no results. They recommended I return the soundbar. I returned it asked for a replacement. That one also failed to connect but I found a tip on the internet to unplug BOTH the soundbar and the TV and replug them in. That worked! But the connection continues to drop and you need to unplug/replug the TV and Soundbar to get the soundbar to work. If this continues I may look for a refund.
