I basically looked at it in the store to make sure it had everything. It did not come with the box so I was not aware it was a 5.1ch sound bar. The look of it is very nice, and build quality is the best I have seen in a sound bar. Remote was a pain, and at times confusing. Although not as bad as some I have recently used. Unfortunately once I got it working and connected everything, I wasn't thrilled with the sound. The bass is not powerful enough for me, and the sound was tinny at times and was not clear. I listened to music on it by YouTube music, iTunes and then I went to play my Xbox One on it. I used all modes offered with it, adjusted the bass and the treble, and the only thing I found that I liked somewhat was the video game on the game mode. The sound was very good, clear and crisp. Music wise, this sound bar is horrible. I would have used it mainly for music, so I ended up returning it to the store.
