We changed it to propane so we lost some performance but it works great. We are very happy with it. I wish you could turn the light on manually but that is not an option. It performs very well I would buy another one.

So I bought a house in 2019. Purchased a package deal with the stove, fridge, microwave and dish washer. After purchasing I realized I was able to get a gas range (which I purchased a electric, not knowing I had gas hook ups) so I called and asked if I was able to return my electric stove in exchange for a gas stove. The customer representative told me yes not problem it would just be a upcharge of 98 dollars and some change. Okay no problem, gave her my information and changed my card and initiated the return. Got my new stove, great so excited. UNTIL I recieved my statement in the mail and they charged me for a whole other gas range! After I was told it would be 98. I have reached out a million times, not a single customer service rep spoke English or was willing to help. I drove a hour and a half to the nearest Best Buy. Spoke with a manager spent 2 hours in the store she said yes I was completely right and I got over charged she tried reaching out to try to help. She could not get any help either, THE MANAGER couldn’t do anything for me even though she saw I got ripped off. Needless to say after a million of attempts to fix the situation I ended up paying for a whole other gas range and a electric range I RETURNED. Worst customer service I have ever recieved and would not recommend anyone buy anything from this company.

Don't buy if you use the oven part a lot. It will go up to temp and then drop temp when you put food in there. If you bake, you will mess up your baked goods because the temp is so imprecise. I try to adjust it by the 35-50 degrees it is off but it seems that it is never off by a consistent amount of degrees. Between this factor and the potential cost of repair equaling almost half of what we paid, buying a new stove after a year and two months. NEVER BUY A SAMSUNG STOVE.

Overall good stove. Has some issues where it will suddenly start clicking like it is trying to light, will have to unplug it to get it to stop. Cleaning products wore off all lettering on back splash and knobs. Top has some bubbling on the black finish.

Nobody likes reading a novel for a review. Short and sweet. This cooktop replaced a 25 year old gas range. In the end, you are cooking over a fire, if the knobs break, I will use pliers, if the finish wears off, I don't care. This is one heck of a performer, and I am elated with the upgrade, this thing cooks like a beast. A great value. 5 stars.

I have only had this range a short time, but love it !! Even cooking on stove top and oven, center burner is great.

I've been using this stove for about 3 months now and so far I haven't had any problems with it. It takes awhile to get used to the difference in the regular oven and the convection setting. I thought I would be using this setting more than I am. When I use the convection to make baked goods, it seems to dry them out. I tried making a pot roast and it was so dried out and tough. Not sure convection is all it claims to be. The stainless steel finish is very easy to clean. The oven comes up to the pre-heat temperature very quickly. The drawer at the bottom is very flimsy and so small you can't fit hardly anything in it. The temp. of the 5th burner under the griddle is so low that it takes forever to cook anything on it. The back left burner is recommended for most uses but a larger pan will not fit on it with the griddle in place. One thing I didn't know before I purchased this, is that if there is a power outage, the oven is not useable.

I’ve had this range for about 4 years now and I enjoy it, it works just fine. The only downside is that I’ve had to replace the igniter for the oven twice in the last year, it just stops working, no signs that it’s going to go out. The oven just stops heating.

Worked ok for about 3 years, then the convection fan stopped working and the gas valve for the oven started acting up. Repair cost was more than price as new through Best Buy. Also, heat from self clean freezes door in the locked position. We were told not to use self clean

Decent stove. High heat eye is really high heat. Great for stir fry but watch "delicate" foods. Knobs very disappointing. Cheap plastic portions. Had stove 2 years 1 knob broke the other 4 have plastic cracked on verge of breaking. Covered under warranty now but will replace knobs with all metal after that.

Happy wife. This is our first gas range and works flawlessly.

I love my stove. The oven is big. I just need to figure out how to keep it cleaned

This gas range was replacing an old 16 year old white one. I love how this one looks and the many new features it has. It also has the convection feature which I have not tested yet. There are two big gas burners and two smaller ones and then one in the middle for specialty things like pancakes and stuff. The knobs allow greater control of gas output, more so than my old one. Very happy with the performance of this unit so far! Also, the installer who delivered the unit installed it in less than 20 minutes after he took it off the truck - including the time it took to haul away the old one!

Love everything about the stove, oven, and purchase experience clear down to the delivery. Black Stainless a little different than other brands of black stainless but unless the other appliances are right next to it you cannot not tell unless you point it out. have Black SS dishwasher, fridge, and now stove, the kitchen looks sooooo high end now, unbelievable difference they made. looking for a countertop Black SS microwave, and small appliances now to complete the look.

I really enjoy using this range except for one drawback. The oven temperature on my unit is not accurate. I wondered why it took longer to bake than the recipes called for. So, I bought an oven thermometer and found out my oven runs 50 degrees low!!! There is an option to adjust the oven temperature by several degrees up or down. Now, everything bakes well. Also, it is not up to temperature when it signals that it is. Now that I know these facts, I really like the stove.

I've had this stove for 3 years now. I read all the reviews and was a little nervous about the defects people mentioned. The stove looks good and works fine. But as others have said there are issues. The first issue I had was the paint peeling off the cast iron grates on the top of the stove. There are now patches that are rusty looking. This happened a couple of months into it. I'm not super fussy so I didn't bother making a complaint. Then, at around 1 year the oven would not light. Luckily I bought the 5 year Geek Squad protection plan. Someone came and fixed the oven ignitor. That happened again about another year after that. Again fixed. No problems with that since. Now, this morning the knob I use the most felt loose. It came off very easily and I can see it is completely broken - just as others have said would happen. I thought maybe those people took them off and on a lot for cleaning. I mostly just clean around them and take them off rarely. I checked the other knobs and there is another one that is cracked and getting ready to break. I'm sure the rest are close behind. Pretty ridiculous. I'm hoping my protection plan will cover the replacements as I really don't feel like dropping $65 per. If you do buy this stove I would highly suggest getting an extended protection plan, otherwise you will be spending a few hundred more on replacements and fixes. Hey Samsung, you make nice looking stuff, but please get a grip and up your quality. Your products are not cheap, and ultimately looks are not everything.

I've wanted a gas range for years, so when we recently purchased a home and intensely disliked the electric range that came with it, I decided to go for it. I couldn't be happier with this purchase. As a bonus, I read a review that said there was no way to turn the oven light on without opening the door. That was my only concern, so I was happy to discover the reviewer was incorrect.
