Loved the idea of having the griddle plate option, but you can't leave it placed on the stove and use full size (10") pans. The griddle plate also takes forever to heat up and doesn't offer much extra space over two large pans. The griddle plate is easy to clean though. One of the knobs became loose after about a year and a half and finally broke completely off. Mind you this is a knob for a burner that is almost never used, so I'm not sure how that happened. The oven works fairly well but there are numerous complaints out there about MAJOR temperature discrepancies with Samsung ranges. I've not used a temperature probe to monitor this as we don't usually cook based on time, but to temperature or appearance. Also, the convection was a huge need when we purchased, but wasn't aware that the fan cycles on and off when the burner is re-ignited to add heat back in. I don't believe this is a device defect, just likely something we'll have to live with on any gas convection range.

Used the broiler for the first time the other day, was super impressed how fast and well it worked.
