nice but brittle oven

(washer, dryer, dishwasher, microwave, and oven) I am starting to believe samsung's engineers aren't designing these products with longevity in mind and Samsung is jacking up the price of replacement parts to boost profits. I don't have much to complain about when it comes to functionality, but durability is non exsistent on this model. All five of the knobs were broken in the first six months. I fixed a few of them with a little glue. I replaced a few of them completely at $52 a piece, but for knobs on the front of a oven, I would expect them to be built a little better with better materials. Its plastic at the point that attaches on to the oven.

Even though we loved the old stove and it was only three years old we decided to get a new one to go with our other new appliances in our just-built home. Much to our surprise, it was not the same. No power burner, on wok ring, no oven lights on the touch panel. Not only nothing on the panel - NO OVEN LIGHT AT ALL! My guess someone at the factory forgot to put it in as on further examination there should be one when the oven door is opened. Too many things to do with a new home will get to this when we do. I wish we had kept the "old" one. Moral of this, don't buy something without physically examining it.
