    Before the three years the oven was all rusted. Samsung quality is not was it used to be.

    Range is great but the city will bot sogn off the gas permit for installation because of the way the instructions are written. It appears that the range requires 4” clearance on one side and 6” above. The way its drawn this means cuboards cant be mounted on either side of the range. Ive spoken w samsu g who co formed this is not the case but the city wont budge because of what the instructions say. So…. Great range, but not suitable if you have a fitted kitchen and live in a place that requires a permit for a gas install

    Broke in 3 years

    Bought it in 2020. Broke in 2023. Terrible stove. The buttons stopped working suddenly. To repair, it would cost $450. The stove cost $550. Before it broke, it was great.

    Great gas stove

    I love the extra small burner for rice. Only problems are the grates. They're very heavy to move for cleaning. And my small pans tip over very easily, so a different shape of the "prongs" would be better for me. Oh, also setting the clock is not intuitive....have to pull out the manual every time.

    Its a good stove, works well. Definitely purchase the protection plan. After 2 years and 10 months the display screen had an error and youll want the plan.

    Samsung appliances are aweful we owned this less then 3 years had to have it repaired twice and now the oven does not work and cannot be repaired… Have had similar issues with the samsung dishwasher!

    Horrible, had for only 3 years and is leaking water from the bottom...Warranty only last 1-2 from samsung...Bad seal on front door.

    We bought this range (or a very similar one) 2 years ago. Already the lower burner in the oven has failed (only the broiler works) and the knobs on the front are all broken! And even though we paid for their expensive geek squad service plan, after waiting 30 minutes to talk to someone, it will take them a WEEK to come look at it. A week without an oven. My advice - go to Sears and buy Kenmore appliances.

    I bought this Samsung stove (actually we bought all new kitchen appliances as a set) about a year and a half ago. The fridge had to be replaced after the repair people coming out at least 4 times. Within 6 months after we got the stove they had to change the control panel because it stopped working. To be fair they had been polite about fixing it and did it within a week. Three days ago the panel went out again. We made a appointment for yesterday . Told them it was the same problem to bring another one to change. They confirmed that they would be here between 8am to 5pm. They were a no show. Spoke with contractors Service Quick who were suppose to come and they were extremely rude and was told they would only look at the problem not fix it on 12/23/20. We told Best Buy Geek Squad we did not want those contractors in our home and all they had to do is look at their repair records for the parts number and make 1 trip not 2. All I got back from the the Geek Squad is we will get back to you in 24-48 hours. I will never buy another Samsung product again.

    I have had this product for about 4 years. I have had to replace the igniter twice. It seems it only lasts about 2 years. It does not fit 2 pans on the burners at the same time. Poorly designed.

    Warranty issues!

    Stove broke within warranty period barely (thank God). Had a burner that would not shut off. This was bad enough as it is. Worse part is the although Samsung was easy enough to work with, the service company for this area didn't even read the ticket that was created for five days. Samsung tells you that you will be contacted by the service company within 48 hours. I called the service company and a recording says they can't guarantee contacting me in the 48 hour period. Samsung is helping with this problem but this makes the initial problem worse.

    Warning, Samsung gas stoves are dangerous. I purchased a Samsun gas stove from Best Buy and after less than a year the valve on the front left burned became jammed and would not allow me to turn off the burner. I eventually had to shut off the gas because I couldn’t get the burner to turn off. Although we purchased it less than a year ago and Samsung told me it was under warranty, they refused to pay to replace their defective valve. Do not buy.
