The burners heat up real fast. When you set a pre-set temperature for the oven it beeps you let tough know it achieved the set temperature. You can also aet you oven to start cooking at a certain time with also preset temps. Buy it! You won't be disappointed! Pickup some ceramic top stove cleaner so you keep it clean! Nice addition to your kitchen.
