After MANY phone calls and hassles between BestBuy and Samsung it was finally replaced That took almost 2 months of no oven. Disappointed to say the least.

I had another range and it never did this. It is NOT a problem of cleaning. I realize this was a scratch and dent but that should have anything to do with the range top.

The oven was great for about a year (just over) and then the display crashed. There is no repair support in my area, as we found out with our new Samsung washer that also died after only a brief period of use. So we self repair what can be repaired, however, when you give a company thousands of dollars for products that fail as soon as the warranty runs out and then they want to charge you for the repair manual, it's adding insult to injury. Save yourself the heartache and either purchase from a brand that has a robust repair support network or product that doesn't die within a month of the warranty expiration.

Cooktop longevity is lacking

I have not been able to use it once, however, my mother-in-law and wife have. There are rings around where the pots sat. They were brand new pots with only initial washing so they shouldn't have had anything on them. Also I found a chip in the glass... I am not certain if it was there at delivery or not, but for the age and the intended purpose, it looks like this unit will be a lot of maintenance and upkeep.

Self Cleaning does not do near as good of a job as my old stove did. Pretty disappointing purchase as would think that technology would have made a new stove better than what was available 15 years ago.
