We bought it to replace a 20+ year old range and prefer the old one. This purchase was based on great reviews in CR magazine. First, it takes a loooong time to even boil a pot of water. Old range could do it in a few minutes; this range frequently takes 10-15 minutes for the same size pot. Same with oven heating. The old range could heat to 450 in about 6 minutes. This range takes well over 10 up to 15 minutes. The "hot burner" indication is a single light. Our old stove specified exactly which burner was hot. But the worst part is keeping the cooktop clean. It is impossible. I can scrub and scrub but it just never looks good. I would not but this model again. I would consider the gas version but stay away from the electric stove top.

excellent oven. Awful paint..

After 6 months of use the paint started bubbling and peeling. This happend mostly around the door handle and around the front of the oven opening. Samsung customer support was also useless as they said the paint wasn't covered even though the black stainless was one of the main selling points.

The temperate has been consistently 25-50 degrees off (low) every single time we have used it, right from the beginning. We are returning it and going back to using our vintage GE from 1953 - a 67yr old stove that works better than a brand new one says a lot! Do not waste your time or money buying this.
