The ovens were plagued with problems. It was a $1600 stove which we paid another $1k trying to fix. So when we gave up and replaced it, we figured no sense buying expensive. We got this stove because it is a base model but has all the features of a fancy unit. Worst decision EVER! It took 10 min to boil water...15 min to get an egg to ‘set’ for scrambling then when it heated...it burned the egg. Obviously one should expect a learning curve to each stove but this one is more than that. It is a base model so it heats slow. The oven cooked well but we need the fast boil burners (there are two) to actually reach temperature quickly. For our large family, a base model will not work for us. I could see this stove working great for a young couple, a single person or maybe someone who doesn’t cook a lot. But don’t let the features up sell the actual expectations.

They were mostly saying that they did not heat the food well and that the burners took a long time to get hot. Well that is not the case with this one. It get hotter than you think. I would recommend this stove. It is much better than I thought it would be.

Be aware that with the convection fan things bake/roast faster - so either reduce temp by about 25F or play with less baking time. Or don't use the fan. It's true that the smooth top is a bit prone to showing smudges - more than other smooth top cooktops with textured surface. And I think on mine the paint outlining the hobs is wearing off just slightly. Not that I would buy anything else in the price range.
