Had a 'flat-top glass range before. Five yrs into owning it, it died. Not the glass-top burner part, but the oven. And nooo, it wasn't a cheap make/model!. The problem, the dials were on the front of the stove. Which after I had a professional appliance repairman come out to diag. the problem he told me the following. Ready for this... he confirmed stoves that have the dials on the "front" w/ a digital circuit board (as most new stoves have) if you use your stove often, the heat being released from the oven vents will overheat/fry the circuit board which controls yr stove. (Just a little free info & something to take very seriously when thinking about purchasing a stove!!) This Samsung 5.9 cu, Freestanding Elec. Range is 'Awesome, Fantastic, etc.'. (Notice the dials are on the back?) It's 'huge' inside! And it doesn't sound like a tin can (cheap) when closing the oven door. I am extremely pleased with this stove!! Highly recommend it!!

Before a chef moved into our rental property, we replaced all the appliances with Samsung. He loves cooking in his new kitchen with his new Samsung electric range!

We like the color: white. It brighten the room. The smooth cooking top is so easy to clean. Overall, it is much easier to clean than a stainless steel range.

Excellent functionality. Excellent style and appearance with middle price range. Everything (oven, heating coils, lights) working great and easy to use.

I had this stove 3 years ago and when I moved, I bought the latest version. It works as well, even a little better than my previous Samsung range.

My wife spelt some chees on a hot burner and after it cooled, it was very hard to get off( understandable) but she thought she scratch the top burner, I cannot see it now, but be careful on to spill on a hot burner, it may mar the top a little. Otherwise, it is a great stove. like the features. Easy to use

Word of warning: If you are ordering from the Tracy, CA store insist that the Geek Squad deliver or you will be sorry! Delivery guy was rude to my husband but that is just the start of the issues. It took 4 weeks to get all of my ordered items. The final item being this stove. It was ordered on 8/19/17 and it arrived 9/15/17. One item was delivered and stopped work in 72 hours...yes....hours. The replacement came late (scheduled 12-4 arrived near 7pm) and was damaged beyond repair...so we had to wait for the 3rd and final dishwasher that WAS delivered and installed by Geek Squad's Dale (who was quick, friendly, and knowledgeable) it works perfectly. As for the stove it IS great (though the last delivery was scheduled for 4-6 pm and it actually arrived just before 10:00 pm) and I have to admit, late as they were, THIS team was polite and helpful. The stove looks great ( chose the black) and it heats up immediately. I hadn't realized how much I needed a new stove until I turned this one on. In store staff is great especially the Appliance department team (ask for Aujhana but Stephanie and Javier were also very helpful), the Geek Squad mgr. Joe, Brian and Marcel but the delivery problems added stress that completely ruined the fun of getting new appliances.

The electric range has been great so far. Everything works well and there have been no issues. I love all the functions and the design.

Excellent stove for the price! Heats up quickly, warming center is a great option, big enough for multiple pans. I would buy it again!

I absolutely love my new stove but if I had to pick again I wouldn't pick the black top it shows everything but that is my only complaint. Very easy to use ,great warming feature. It doesn't have a bottom burner in the oven but still seems to cook throughly. Very satisfied for the price

The stove is easy to use although if you have something in the oven and you are cooking something on the top, you can lean over and it will turn the oven off which is frustrating. Also cleaning the stovetop is not easy

Really love the cooktop and the fast boil feature. Not crazy about the timer. It is bot very people friendly

Works well. The black surface shows dust but otherwise have no complaints about how it functions. Easy to use.
