Customers are saying
Customers regard the convection oven and ease of use as top features, with many praising its performance and user-friendliness. The burner size and overall appearance also receive positive feedback, while some appreciate the range's numerous features and sleek design. However, a notable concern involves the glass top, with some experiencing issues and finding it prone to showing smudges. A clicking noise from the oven is another recurring negative comment.

Great Oven with Auto cook time off.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this during 4th of July sale and had no idea how many features it had. After installing it, I discovered that it has an auto off cook time. It works like a timer but turns the oven off automatically so it no longer cooks or burns. the heat pad is nice and overall I would buy one again.

Broke after 4 months, Samsung service terrible
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I loved this oven. The burners cook a bit too hot, but once you get used to it you adapt. I bought it on 5/23/15 and used the self cleaning for the first time on 10/8/15. At some point during the cleaning, the oven just died. Black screen, door won't open and I've spent 3 hours on with Samsung Customer Service as it's still under warrantee. Still no one has called me to set up the service appointment as promised. It was $800 and Geek Squad wants me to pay $100 for them to fix it and then $200-$300 to repair it. Again, it's four months old. I'm so frustrated and disappointed in the response from both Best Buy and Samsung. Five days later no one has called to help and I'm still without an oven. If and when I do get it fixed, I probably won't use the self cleaning option encase it would break it again.

Great range for the price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm very happy with this range. It boils water very quickly, the oven heats up pretty fast as well. I like how it actually shows the temp it's currently at as it preheats. The preheat has completed chime isn't annoying or obnoxious in my opinion. The buttons do require a firm push. Also when using the oven it does make a lot of clicking noises as the heating elements cycle on and off. But I don't mind it that much. If you're looking for a great range with nice features I'd recommend this one.

Glass top breaks
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Glass top has broken twice in the first year. We owned another glass top range for over 15 years prior to this range, and never had a broken glass top. Have been told by a appliance repair facility that Samsung knows the glass is weak, and covers it for a year. NOT HAPPY !!

Awesome stove
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Awesome stove. Has been working great and love all the gutters that it has. Until now 5 years later the display has been acting up, but it doesn’t affect the way the stove works

Our New Electric Range
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We love our new Samsung range. Although we have not completed the learning curve, it cooks and bakes very efficiently and is a big improvement over our previous range. We will get around to trying the convection cooking later. Another plus is that it coordinates very well with our GE Artistry refrigerator which we also purchased from Best Buy.

Very Nice, works well
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This stove has some great features and a couple of drawbacks. First, the good: looks very nice, functions very well (fast pre-heat and burners). Meh: Using one dial to control 3 burners was a bad idea. The larger front right burner has three sizes, and so each is controlled separately, but all three are shoved into the space normally used by one burner. This makes it very hard to get a precise temp on any of those burners. The double burners also share one knob, but it's not as major of an issue. The other issue is the glass top. This oven replaced an older glass top that was always easy to clean. Maybe it had become 'seasoned' over the years, but the glass top on this Samsung is very hard to keep clean. Everything sticks to it like crazy. I wonder if it has to do with how much hotter these burners get compared to older stoves (one burner melted foil).

Overall good
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I do like this stove, but, it's true what the reviews say about it being hard to simmer things. The burners do cook hot, and it's hard to simmer. But, I think getting used to it makes it ok. Also, the black glasstop is very hard to keep clean because it's BLACK. SO, I am not giving it a 5 star rating. Otherwise, it's great! (I would look for something else next time though)

Top scratches easily
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We were assured that the top surface was resistant to scratches. Wrong. We use are stove less than once a day and the top surface is already showing wear marks. (3 weeks of use). Also when you pay $900.00 for a stove and then ding me another $28.00 for the cord to make it work? Pretty cheesy.

Good Range other than slow oven preheat
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Everything about it meets expectations, especially the metal knobs and the way that the convection oven cooks. The one demerit is the preheating time. Compared to my old oven, early 80s, this takes twice as long to get to 350 and at least 4x as long to get to 475. It may be the "efficiency" but I didn't expect to go backwards with anything. The flat top also increases the stove top boil time compared to the bare coils I had before, but this was expected.

Difficult to control temperatures
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We owned this for 5 years, so I have a lot of experience before writing this. The cooktop is easy to keep clean ,if you wipe it ever day , and use coktop cleaner when necessary. Another oro is that nothing has broken in 5 years. The cons: it is very difficult to simmer food because you can't set the geat low enough. Also, the Back burners are not useful because they are small and are close to the back wall. The oven is another problem. It tends to burn the top of food, while not yet baking the middle of the item. This occurs with or without convection bake being turned on. You have to keep watching the color if your baked items and adjusting thd heat. A strange phenomenon is the persistent clicking of solenoids, even before the stove burners or oven has achieved its desired temperature.

Will not buy Samsung products other than TV
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.About three years ago we needed to replace range and dish washer. Since we were not happy with the American brand we had, we decided to try Samsung since they seemed to have good features and looked stylish. However just about a couple of years later we started to have problems with both range and dish washer. For the range first one of on-off indicator light went, then one of the burner couldn't be adjusted anymore. Lower oven's temperature is not correct. Today the glass top cracked. For the dish washer, for no reason the cycle would stop in the middle of it, until someone to turn it off and restart. At least for us we won't buy another Samsung appliance until proven!

Control knobs are too hot to the touch
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Rear burners are TOO close to control knobs, when the rear burners are on the control knobs are very hot to the touch. We contacted Samsung customer support about this issue and they were very patronizing and rude. They sent a Samsung service man to check the heat of the knobs and they claim that if the heat is within Samsung design tolerances then there is nothing wrong with the range regardless if the knobs are too hot to the touch, but they will not tell you what are the design tolerances... If you decide to buy this electric range be careful touching the control knobs when the rear burners are on. We will never buy another Samsung product again.

A pretty wonderful oven with neat features
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So Samsung has really stepped up their game in the kitchen appliance department. This oven was a little pricier, but well worth the upgrade. The knobs at the top are of a high quality heavy durable metal rather than a cheap black flimsy plastic. Also, the cooktop is sleek with a warming center and Rapid Boil options. I like that this has the convection setting with the built in fan as this is intended to cook food more thoroughly and supposedly faster as well. The storage drawer at the bottom is nice but be advised some items can get a bit warm while to oven is on so be careful what you place down there. Overall, highly recommend this product and blends seamlessly with the rest of our Samsung kitchen electronics

Great electric range
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a replacement unit for a 12 year old well used range. The one we had had the top elements going out costing over half the price of a new stove to replace. We wanted something similar. Not being in the market for a range for over 12 years had no idea concerning brand, price point, etc., so put our trust into the Best Buy sales associate......he did a wonderful job taking us thru the selection, checking the "low price guarantee" then suggesting the Samsung as it is their best selling appliance brand, helped us find the one most similar to our old one. This is a very nice unit, tho the range top as with our last one needs frequent cleaning......and yours will also if you use the range twice or more a day. We like the units features... both burner configurations, options and convection oven. Would recommend this to anyone wanting a "step up" electric range.
