I don't like the solid black smoothtop. I wanted a speckled one, but couldn't find one. The black shows every single thing. You can barely breath around it without it showing marks.

We purchased this range sixteen months ago and were initially very happy with it. Huge capacity, the oven worked great. It was a big deal to finally have a nice, new stove. It did seem to me that the cooktop wasn't holding up as well as I'd thought it should be, some minor pitting, but it wasn't too bad. Never had a glass cooktop before. So now we're four months beyond the manufactures warranty and the display panel for the oven/clock has started flickering like there's a short in it, the oven temperature has recently been uneven, either too hot or not hot enough to cook cornbread in two hours. The cooktop hasn't been as durable as I would have expected. There are thirty pages of complaints about Samsung ranges having these problems on the Samsung community webpage. THIRTY PAGES. There are videos on YouTube of problems with display panels flickering on Samsung stoves. All these complaints, problems, seem to happen within the first two years of ownership. When I contacted Samsung, they claim this is not a known issue with these ranges. The person I "chatted" with told me to "Please don't believe third-party complaints." Aha! So they are aware of the complaints, and I pointed out, my complaint wasn't third party. They won't cover the repair for a known problem/defect on a range that we paid $800 for sixteen months ago. A new range should last 13 to 15 years, not less than a year and a half. With thirty pages of complaints, Samsung should be paying for these repairs or replacing these ranges for customers. I wish I had known about all these issues with Samsung ranges BEFORE we'd purchased this stove. I'm now waiting for a repair estimate before we decide if we're going to bother repairing it, or put that money toward another new stove. We will not be buying any more Samsung products.

Stove top is very poor quality it showed white marks and scratches all over it after the first few months of use. Now to ten months later, control panel plastic has cracked which usually ends up ruining the control board. Initially oven heated to temp very quickly, again to almost a year of use it is now taking much longer to heat. Also continues to have a strange strong chemical smell when using. Bought the recommended geek plan for 5 years taking the purchase to $1000 doubt it will last beyond that.

it's a good stove. just that the cook top is bad quality If you're boiling water and spills on the glass it bubbles up doesnt come off.

I like everything about this except for the small display. My last stove I could see the time from my dining table. I guess when get used to something everything else just isn’t up to par

Well, not much to report. Purchased item still not in my possession. So I am hopeful, but praying my current stove hangs in there until new one comes.

Very attractive stove, easy to use, oven door heat seal not tight and edges near oven get hot.
