    After only 1.5 years of owning it and using it lightly, the control panel went haywire. This product should be removed from this site as the parts to fix it are no longer available. I have been waiting for 3 months. The repair man said there has been a lot of calls regarding this panel. I am fortunate to have purchased the extended warranty and will be picking out a different model in exchange. When the range did work it worked well, one thing we did not like was with the black panel it was hard to read the dark grey setting for the dials. Some of the burners were also slower to warm up than others.

    This appliance does not rest flush against the wall and does not create an appealing look for your kitchen layout. In addition the cooktop scratches incredibly easy. I’ve had mine for four months and the front burners are cloudy. The local Best Buy store was no help. Purchasing the extended warranty was a waste, the kitchen sales associate informed me that the scratched cooktop would be covered under the extended warranty. When I tried to access this I was given the run around.

    The LED display started flickering about 3-4 months ago. The stove is 2 years old. It's a known issue with many of the Samsung ranges/stoves. It doesn’t cook evenly. My banana bread gets cooked on the bottom but not in the top. I was cleaning it and the paint came off. It’s practically knew. The Geek Squad have appointments only in 2 or 3 weeks. I’ll never buy Samsung appliances again.

      The range requires a separate branch circuit single grounded outlet. Here is the specification for the range power source.

      Power Source 240V/60 Hz/40A

      Depending on your needs, the display on your oven will show only the necessary functions. A power cycle can reset the display and get it working again if the display seems to be malfunctioning, such as incomplete digits. Please see the link for more details.

    Black Stainless Chips off

    Black Stainless is a coating and is chipping off after only 1.5 years. Samsung says not covered cosmetic. Also burner temperature regulation is terrible. Once on HI, you have to drop it down to low, then back up to desired setting or it will just stay on HI.

    Cook top immediately scratched

    Bought this range and in less than a week of normal use, the cook top is scratched. Looks terrible. Just wasted $599.00 for nothing. Thanks Samsung.
