Bought a TV for Christmas from Best Buy and the picture Quality was terrible called DirectTV and the said that we had to upgrade their service coating me $90. Geek squad said it was not TV. Returned TV to Best Buy. Fed up. While returning TV a salesman said your problem is that you need a Samsung TV. So happy we found that salesman he was correct . Great picture Quality

I got this TV for xmas. I upgraded from a 40" LG to this Samsung 50". My in-laws have a 55" Samsung, I have always loved the picture quality so I was extremely pleased with the picture quality and crispness of my new TV. The set up was so easy, just turn it on and away you go, follow the screen instructions, the WiFi hook up was simple. Very happy with my new Samsung 50" Led smart TV.

This Samsung replaced an LG TV that lasted less than 2 yrs. As we've only had this for about a month, only time will tell if this is better. The picture is very sharp and clear, and it connected easily with our Samsung sound bar. Our other TV is a 40" Samsung that we've had for 5 yrs or more, so we hope this one is as reliable. Should have stayed with Samsung in the first place!

I had been contemplating replacing my 10 year old plasma TV for several months when this TV went on sale before Christmas. I didn't hesitate to buy it because I have had good luck with Samsung and they came through again. This TV was under $400 and it is likely one of the last 1080p HDTVs in a 50" screen to be made because everything is going to Ultra High Definition which I can live without. Frankly, I don't care for UHD because I'm not a fan of the picture it produces and the industry has found a way to get most everyone to go out and buy a new TV when the ones they have are probably just fine. Anyway, this 50" Samsung was perfect for my family and we will probably keep it as long as we can because the picture is great and the Smart TV features work really well too. And, it's just plain easy to set up and use.

Looks amazing, back light adjust to the brightness of the room. Netflix runs very smooth plus it has a Sirius/XM app. Only down side is the button and power light location. It's under the tv which gives u a sleek look but u can't see the power light and a little to much work to power it off. I'm in my late 30's I just want to push one simple button. Also needs 1 more HDMI port, but I also only spent $475 for the TV so can't cry about that.

Phenomenal value for the price. Brilliant picture and features that makes me feel confident that I made the right choice. My only complaint was the abesence of an HDMI cable to use features that are advertised. I felt somewhat disappointed having to purchase something additional to use a feature that is basic to the TV's normal advertised functioning.

Samsung always makes a great product and this television did not disappointment. The price point was phenomenal and the picture is great, especially since all the rave is over 4K and being slightly being the curve (and not spending a fortune) is the place to be. Would recommended this product and have been very pleased with all my Samsung televisions.
