purchased samsung 50" led tv after lg tv stopped working. was much lighter than old tv. was able to climb ladder and mount on wall with no problem. hooked up to existing cords and programmed universal remote in less than half hour. picture is crisp. have been enjoying tv since november 2015.

To be fair I got this TV as an open box special but the Samsung name made it more attractive. Good refresh rate and excellent color when set using the available custom settings. These settings have a lot to do with where the TV is located in your home ( ie dark room). I found that fine tuning this TV made my viewing experience much better !!

I've put off buying a flat screen tv for several years and after turning it on for the first time I have a hard time turning it off. Samsung has one of the best products out there.

Picture quality is good and the smart TV part is a real plus

Looked at this Smart TV and 4K TVs. Most of my TV watching is sports and news programming. This TV has great refresh rate for sports and with picture mode set to "Dynamic"" the picture really stands out. Just not enough content being broadcast now in 4K to justify the extra $300-400.

Was looking for a TV to fit in the space above a fireplace mantel in the house we just bought. Good picture right out of the box without a lot of adjustment. Sound is on par with a 65" Sony we have, but not quite as good as my 10yr old Panasonic plasma TV. Overall, I would recommend.

Exceptional picture quality and overall value. 50" was on sale for an amazing price during the Holidays - $200.00 off suggested retail. Improvements - manufacturer needs to supply a longer power cord and a 3rd HDMI input would be ideal. Overall I highly recommend anything Samsung!

My TV blew up after 7 years of service, and I needed a new one in a hurry and on a budget. I hit up Best Buy, where I got solid advice from the sales rep. With a few minutes worth of wandering the store and looking stuff up to make sure my choice was solid, I settled on this TV. The picture quality is spectacular, to me. I only have the older TVs (2-7 years old) to compare it to, but it's even better than the 'main' TV I bought (also from Best Buy) 2 years ago. For gaming, it's amazing. The smart features are nice, and I got streaming services set up in about 10 minutes. I'm really happy with this TV.

good color , easy set up, light weight, easy to handle

It was easy to program. The picture quality is the best I have ever seen for a television. I am so impress, I plan to purchase another one for a different room in the house.

I have enjoyed this TV alot. The picture is some much better than my old TV. The only thing I don't like is when you turn it on you have to wait for up to a minute to use Netflix , DVD, internet etc. In this age of electronics one would think it would be instant.

Had our last 46 inch Samsung flat screen T.V. for 9 years! It is still working great except for a small line starting ! We paid almost $3000.00 for that T.V. and replaced it with a 50 inch Samsung flat screen for only $600.00! Hope to get 9 yrs out of this one too! Very happy!

Big upgrade for me. Didn't want to spend an extreme amount of money and this one turned out to be an excellent buy!!! It went on sale a few days later, I called in and they immediately credited my account for the difference on their "Price March"! Great all around experience.

Easy to set up and picture is amazing. This replaces a rear projection TV and the difference is significant. A much smaller profile and easily mounts on the wall.

My first smart tv and my first big screen since my plasma tv from 9 years ago. What a great and crisp picture. And the apps are very easy to utilize. I have never been disappointed in a Samsung product.

Got this TV for under $500. Contemplating going for 4k but opted to wait until there's more content. The picture is great, don't care for the smart functions, as it can be a little slow and I use Apple TV and Chromecast anyway. Only wish this model has Bluetooth capabilities to sync with my Samsung speaker.

Awesome tv use it for gaming and sports. The motion sensitivity is great. Picture quality also amazing. Just colors I expected more from a Samsung would honestly have gotten a Sony instead next time.

I bought this TV as a bundle with an Xbox One. I wasn't necessarily looking for a TV but the combined savings off the TV and Xbox bundle was around $200. It was a hard deal to pass up... so I didn't pass it up. Both the TV and Xbox display superb quality.
