Very Satisfied
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this TV to replace an old Sony 40" TV. I couldn't be happier with the TV so far. The picture is beautiful (much better than i could've hoped for in this price range). The speakers lack some depth but that's pretty common for TVs in this range. I'm a spots nut and I'm very happy i went with a TV that has a 120hz refresh rate. I can definitely tell the difference during sporting events. The frame is a little bulky and I would've liked to see 3 HDMI ports but overall the picture makes up for all of the minor inconveniences. If you are in the market for a mid grade 50" TV i highly recommend the Samsung 6200 series.

Great moderate priced TV
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this TV to replace a 5 year old 32" Samsung that was a great TV. I have been using this TV for 2 weeks now and it has been great! The sound is very loud even though the speakers are behind the TV. The picture is very clear and looks great, however you will need to adjust the factory settings as with any TV you purchase. I would highly recommend this TV.

WRONG SPECIFICATION: THE MOTION RATE IS 60HZ
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The TV is advertised online and in the store to be a 120hz motion rate. I bought 1 yesterday, everywhere on it is written 120 hz motion rate, on the box its written 120, on the receipt it is written 120. I turned it on and it was blurry. I checked the TV info and it says its a 60hz. I palyed with all the settings and nothing change. I called BEST BUY and the tech tells me it is actually built to be a 60 hz and not 120 hz motion rate since the TV info says 60, and that there is no setting on the TV that will enable me adjust to 120hv. SO WHY ADVERTISE A HIGH QUALITY PRODUCT BUT INSTEAD PACKAGE AND SELL A LOW QUALITY ONE? IT IS A 60HZ MOTION RATE TV AND NOT 120HZ.

Great picture! Perfect size
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We ordered this TV from a Black Friday Deal and we have been so happy with the TV! Amazing picture (Looks AWESOME with Blu Rays) and doesn't lag with online games. The sound isn't that bad of a problem like I've read in previous reviews, if it gets quiet during a scene we will just turn up the volume a little more. The smart features are helpful even though we already have a PS3 connected. Overall we are very happy with this TV and glad we purchased it :)

Samsung knows televisions
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For starters, this is my first HDTV. I spent a few days researching "budget TV's" before reaching the conclusion of the 6200. What really sold me was the 120hz refresh rate. However, the minimum requirements were: HDTV, Smart TV, and Samsung brand. There were other brands comparable in price and features but, the picture quality in my opinion was far superior on this model (in the size/price range).

OUTSTANDING TV - GOOD PRICE
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The TV has great picture and sound. Easy to put together with stand/TV. I was able to setup the Xfinity box in 5 min. Then installed the power and HDMI cables for the TV and followed the instructions on the TV. I was watching TV in about 15 min. At first, the picture was not clear but I was not on the HD channels. Got on the HD channels and it works great.

Beautiful TV. What you need to know
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I read a lot of reviews and did a lot of research before settling on this TV. I saw it hanging on the wall in Best Buy and was able to observe the motion issue where it kind of trails. Motion not being good all the time. You can easily turn this off in settings. I generally watch without it, though most of the time when I do turn it on it is not an issue. Personally I see little to no benefit to it. Others may say different and honestly it is a matter of opinion if you do the research. Other than that. Screen auto dims when the room gets dark. Not particularly fond of that and I am sure I can play with that setting also, just haven't gotten around to it. Another opinion is the Smart Hub. Sony may make a "quality" TV but I believe samsung does also and has better customer service. (though no customer service is perfect). Sony smart feature is in my option infuriating to use and Smart Hub on Samsung is nice and simple, Plays well with most other things and will allow streaming right from a video file in Windows 10. I haven't had it incredibly long but had my last Samsung TV 7yrs and it was a great TV. Sold it still working and just upgraded.

Great Picture, terrible software
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Samsung continues to produce TV's with beautiful pictures, but glitchy and unreliable Smart Hub software. Very slow to load, even slower to respond. Often get messages like, "TV is being prepared. Come back later." Turning auto software update on/off, resetting Smart Hub, using latest firmware doesn't help at all. TV comes with no apps already loaded so if Smart Hub doesn't work properly you are stuck. Finally gave up and use Roku to bypass Smart Hub. Had same problems with other Samsungs. My fault for believing this time would be better.

Terrible Series of Televisions
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My wife bought a 55" and she and I were very displeased with it. The motion rate was terrible on the screen. We owned a 120hz Samsung before this and it finally gave out. So, we purchased this television. To our surprise, while watching movies, images on the screen would "stutter" a lot and look very choppy when they were moving fast. We thought the TV was broken and so we returned it for the same model. We were wrong. The new TV was doing the same thing if not worse. It turns out this Model has a function called "Auto Motion Plus" that is supposed to make the fast moving motions smooth. It does not do this. Whenever "Auto Motion Plus" is turned on it creates "stuttering" or "judder" in moving images on the screen. There is lots of image latency and it looks terrible. The TV looked great when you turned the "Auto Motion" plus off. But then the 120hz motion rate wasn't being used. We figured there wasn't a point in having a 120hz motion rate television when we have to turn the motion rate off in order for it to function properly, so we returned it and just got a different brand all together. I am very surprised that a Samusung television would have these types of problems. I didn't want to go with another brand of TV but it looks like Im stuck with only 4k options only in any Samsung brand. It's very sad.

Needs a little tweaking
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good picture, but it needs a some adjustment to get the best picture. Once I got the calibration disk, it's pretty simple, and I am sure that a certified tech would do a better job, but once I did the calibration using Primus, its pretty nice!

Great for everyday TV watching
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We were looking for a decent TV for our family room. We are not gamers but were interested in smart TV to be able to watch TV over the internet. The picture quality is good in my opinion as I was not needing Ultra 4K. The internet aspect works. It is a bit slow to get to but we have watched things from our Amazon Prime account without buffering issues. Overall I think this was a good TV for the price and I would recommend it to someone looking for a smart TV.
