Great TV for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We went from a 40" Samsung LCD TV from 2008 to this TV. Wow, big jump in quality and capabilities! In particular, the smart TV capabilities are great. We were previously using Hulu+, Netflix, Amazon Prime, and YouTube via my PS3, but now it's all handled by the TV, which is more convenient. My one minor gripe is the delay between the smart menu appearing and when you can successfully click on something in the menu - we have to wait 10 - 20 seconds or else we get a "The TV is preparing" message. Whatever it's doing at that poing needs to be sped way up, or the menu should be grayed out until it's ready.

Great for gaming

It also produces a great picture for Blu rays. I wish it had a better refresh rate, but anything which is already high definition looms great. Now, the only thing that is slightly disappointing is that it doesn't convert regular DVD's to ultra high definition and the picture can be slightly hazy. Overall though really nice TV.

I am very happy that the sales associate was so knowledgeable. He was able to help me compare and contrast the different tv's. I am happy I was able to get the latest technology at a decent price.
