Went in 4 LG & switched, passed the Sony ... All due to brightness and color variance. Then opted for Samsung sound bar. After plugging it in ... The system "sets itself up" ! This is my first big screen purchase and soooo impressed. The 4u is most impressive ...2 bad all the 4u show cost even more... Quality costs :/

I moved into my new place and I needed a larger TV in the living room. I had purchased Samsung before, but the local staff at Best Buy convinced me to buy an LG instead. I lugged the huge TV home and up the stairs in the townhouse only to be REALLY disappointed in the picture and I knew Samsung could do it better. Just to make sure, I went back to the store and purchased this TV and set it up right next to the LG for comparison- and there was no comparison. This TV had SUCH a better picture than the LG. The blacks were blacker and the picture seemed more true to life. My only drawbacks here would be they advertise that certain apps are available for Samsung smart TV's, but I've found that cannot be trusted. If you use certain apps go to the Samsung website and confirm it will be available on the model you're purchasing. This is the second time the one I wanted wasn't available (even after a picture of it was right on the box!). Also, I wanted a TV with some of the latest technology since I don't make these kinds of purchases frequently, but in retrospect I may have been able to save the money and forgo 4K technology. There isn't enough content available at this time to make it useful to me really, but I guess I'll be ready when it comes!

Loved picture in store. Having trouble with direct tv to get right cable box.

This is a great tv and very clear! It is almost as if you are in the screen!
