Awesome TV!

Georgous picture quality especially when watching a movie. I would recommend to anyone who is looking into the 4K. I bought mine before 4K was a big deal. But now that they are making movies for 4K it is a huge difference in the picture quality. Love love.

Our older smart TV needed to "warm up" before the apps could be used. This TV is ready to go right away (we do have it plugged into the internet and not WIfi but so was our old TV) Speakers are also very good and there is actually some bass to the sound unlike most flat TV's.

Not So "Smart"
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good picture but can't connect to internet due to Samsung telling me that my router is too strong and my password contains special characters which are not recognized by Samsung. I was advised to "lower" the security settings on my router which isn't going to happen. Secure means "Secure". Why should anyone be required to lower their security. Samsung needs to fix this issue. Even with purchased "Extra Warranty" (which we were told would cover hooking it up), actually didn't mean that at all. They will only set it up which only AFTER our purchase meant taking it out of the box, placing it where we wanted it, and hooking up the cables. We did that ourselves! The issue is purchasing a "Smart TV" which now can not be used for internet. Only basic television is capable without changing our router password. These characters are not a foreign language and they SHOULD BE ALLOWED. WE ARE NOT PLEASED WITH THIS PURCHASE NOR THE SUPPORT WE PAID FOR BUT DID NOT GET. We were told one thing before the purchase and told another after. Never again SAMSUNG and never again will we be "fooled" by Best Buy salesperson(s).

Great Bargain for UltraHD 50"
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After having a few Samsung HDTV's purchased in the past 10 years i decided to get a new Ultra HD ...even though no broadcast networks are broadcasting this signal, the picture is so crisp and vibrant upconverted on my cable signal. Great Bargain at $849.99.
