The one thing I don't like, is the remote. I wish it had # buttons on it like all the traditional remotes, another thing I don't like about it is that they call it a Smart Remote, but why is it a Smart remote!? My Sony TV remote is smarter than this non-sense Samsung remote. I could actually give voice commands to the Sony remote and it will do as told. This Samsung remote is nowhere near smart.

Good first tv for money

Compared on same HD channel to my sons 52' Samsung 8000 series it lacks sharpness and clarity. I thought it would be close given my sons tv was a few years old but it was not even close. In the settings many of them say " not available " when you click on them. Positives are many other smart features, 3 hdmi ports, good sound, cool intuitive remote.

It does not distract for the most part. I just bought a 4K player so the jury is out on the difference in 4K versus 1080p. It does seem to have a finer, brighter picture than the old TV. I wish I had waited to Black Friday, I would have saved at least $150.

So we went over all the specs for a good price range and came across this one. The picture looks really nice; I need to pick up a new HDMI 2.0 cable to take advantage of the 4K at 60hz but it still looks great. The price was right; the size was right etc.. It's also has very responsive controls. Haven't tried the app as remote yet, but I will eventually.

Just follow the prombts and enter required info and move on to next screen, so on and so forth. I set up TV, sound bar and blu-Ray player in about 15 minutes. All my purchases where Samsung, which made install much easier.
