This is a good TV, it has a great picture and it works really smoothly. Easy to connect with other devices and the picture is phenomenal. For the price, this TV cannot be beat. The only thing is the sound, I purchased a sound bar because I didn't like the sound out of the TV as I do not like sound out of most any TV. I think every television deserves it's own set of speakers. To expect TV sound to be as great as hey sound bar is naïve. It would be very difficult to get great sound out of something so slim and sleek when the focus really should be on the picture. I love this TV

I was amazed how clear the picture is. Previous reviews talked about not liking the remote because it was different than the previous Samsung remotes. I had the previous remote with my last TV and this one is easy to use. Might take a minute to figure out but it’s not a issue. I have had the TV for a month and it has been flawless.

This TV, like all the other Samsungs in my home is awesome. Picture is unmatched, and this set exudes quality from every pixel. Hook-up was easy and we were enjoying this TV within an hour of getting it home. New xbox one games look great on it as well as netflix and amazon streaming videos. Thank you for another great product!

Went back and forth on which model Samsung to get. Knew I wanted to stay at the 50" size...so deciding whether to spend the extra cash for the next model up was a tough call. But found this TV to meet all of my needs...set up was a breeze. Got it connected to my home wifi and was streaming Netflix and Amazon Prime in minutes.

I did a lot of research before buying this model. It was very highly rated in Consumer Reports. The setup was the simplest of any set I have ever had; it practically set itself up, and for the first time, I can control everything with one remote. I thought the remote would be hard to get used to, but it is very simple to use. I do still use the CenturyLink remote to change to a specific channel number, however, because it is faster than the TV remote. The picture is excellent, and the sound quality is better than my previous model was with a sound bar. I am not using a sound bar with this. The tone is pleasant and I can understand the dialogue. I recommend this model.

This is as large a TV as we could get for the space. There are not a lot of 50" options; most seem to be 55". I am a fan of Samsung TVs to start with so the decision was easier. The connection and setup is quick and easy. Picture is clear and bright and it pairs evry well with the Samsung sound bar.

This TV has a great picture. Our last TV was a 42 in 10 year old flat screen. This one is so thin, light and awesome picture. Remote is streamline and easy to use. All we have is internet TV and then an antennae for local channels and it works well and easy to switch apps and watch the shows I want.

Samsung is a well known and trusted company so I chose their brand without much hesitation. Great Tv with clear sharp color. Picture was a real improvement over my old 42" tv The larger 52" screen makes for in the picture experience. The bad part is the worthless remote, but a universal remote works better and not so small that it stays hidden in any small place. Would also help to have real buttons on remote.

TV looks great and works great. Did notice a plastic smell coming from the TV the first few nights I used it, seems to have gone away now. Also, during the same night of purchase, I turned off the TV only to have it turn back on by itself (this happened twice). I turned it off and took a battery out and it did not happen again. Have not had to remove the battery since but that was weird on the first night!

This HDTV was purchased as a replacement for a similar size HDTV that I had for about 8 years. The size (50") is great for the size of my living room. The picture quality and color are great. It was easy to set up. Have had it now for a couple of months and it has been working great.

This tv rocks on so many levels ! First the picture is crystal clear and I mean CRYSTAL . 2nd The remote is a huge technology breakthrough in making a remote small, easy to use and it works with ALL Cable Boxes. It is so intuitive and you can actually speak to it and have it do the functions vertically. The built in Apps for Roku and Netflix are seamless and so easy to switch. You can literally . go from one channel on the cable box to Netflix in one click ! Love this tv

Excellent picture quality, was very impressed by the quality...this is an entry/mid level samsung tv..which has better UHD picture than my 2014 higher end Samsung 8550 and for less than half the price, great for tv stands not necessarily for wall mount, as the back is not uniform in thickness, litter chunkier towards bottom of tv. Nice inviting user friendly interface. Remote is a little cheap, no touch pad but it gets the job done..voice control is very responsive and understands well

Bought this for my birthday. Got an extra 10% off from best buy plus they matched the online price which was $10 cheaper. Picture is good. LG OLED is probably better. I do detect some blur on fast moving action. It is 120 htz. Only real negative is the simple remote. And the manual is on the tv.

I really wanted a good ultra high definition TV. I have been using a Samsung 1080 P 60 Hz TV for about six years. First of all putting it together is a little bit of a hassle. The stand isn’t too sturdy. My TV leans forward the whole time and no matter how much I tighten it. It doesn’t seem to help. Now to the functions of the TV. There are no volume buttons on your TV or on your remote yes remote is voice controlled hold on the mic button say volume 10 goes to 10 or 20 or 50 whatever number you choose. The sound is OK the picture is beautiful but I’m on able to get my PS4 Pro to upscale to ultra and it supposed to be able to do that. Now all I need is the next Xbox and we’ll see what this TV can actually do.

I've only had it for a couple months but so far, so good! - The picture quality is nice and clear, although it can get a bit washed out when seen from the extreme sides but who's going to do that. - For this model of TV (6 Series, MU6300) the remote looks daunting at first since it looks nothing like your traditional TV remote, but its actually pretty intuitive once you look over the instructions for it the first time. - The remote also has the capability to take voice commands as well. I've actually not messed w/ that portion of it much but just putting that information out there for those reading reviews before buying - For those that have a Playstation 4 PRO and want to play your games using the full 4K HDR capabilities, you must first turn on this feature. To do so, go to the TV's settings then, general/external device. Here you will find the option, HDMI UHD color. Click it and you will be presented w/ a screen where you will have to manually turn on HDMI UHD for each HDMI port. For whatever reason it is not turned on by default but a bit of digging around the interwebs lead me to finding how to do, so hopefully this will help others here. - Another nice feature, especially if you are a parent, is the ability to create a "TV off" schedule. If TV time is over at 8:00am, then you can create a schedule for the TV to automatically turn itself off at that time.

The TV is simple to set up and has Netlix, Hulu pre-setup for ease of access. The remote is minimal in nature, but not difficult to get a hang of through either experimentation or just reading the manual. Picture and sound are excellent at the price.

Bought this TV on sale to replace an older one needing repair. Was easy to setup and works very well, nice picture, good sound, works well with all apps, kids love all the smart tv functions on one remote. Only wish the remote had a locator function. Would buy again, thank you

This TV was purchased to replace a broken TV. It has a great picture and so far have not had any problems. Installation was easy to hang on the wall. I love having the apps on the TV so I don't always have to use the Fire Stick.

It has been a lot of years since I bought a new television set. Probably three or four generations of TVs have gone by since then. This 50 inch TV totally blew my socks off. Clear, audio is excellent and colors are vibrant.

I have had this television for over a month and I love it! The size is perfect for my small living room and the picture quality is what I expect from a Samsung product. Set-up was easy with 2 people and the remote is simple.
