    Wonderful HD images. Bright, vivid colors. Great sound as well. However, I have to sit directly in front of the set in order to see the best picture. If I sit or stand off to the side, colors fade away significantly, especially skin tones. Very disappointing. Sound does stay the same, though. Also, the remote is quite diminutive in size. Looks and feels like a DVD player remote instead of one for a large screen TV. Buttons are difficult to access and most of the time, I hit adjoining functions instead of the one I want. Frustrating, to say the least. I'm tempted to call Samsung to find out if there's a larger remote that works with this set. If you're willing to put up with these drawbacks, this TV is a good choice.

    So far it's a wonderful TV and it was easy to set up. Samsung is a good brand and I highly recommend purchasing this TV. I took off one star because after a few days of purchasing and receiving the TV I returned to the website and the price dropped another $50. That didn't feel fair.

    Great Bang for the Buck. Don't use it often as it's for back patio when we we have guests, but get great comments by friends when we do.

    Exceeded my expectations working w/ TIVO and Sonos

    5 Stars - Remote. The remote looks very basic, but its performance and capability exceeded my expectations. Hooked TV up to a Tivo Mini and Sonos and the remote controls both devices great. I do not need my TIVO remote. That said I wish the remote were backlit, 3 Stars - Google Assistant needs more work. My google nest Gen 2 speaker works great at turning the TV on/off and controlling volume, but it does a poor job changing channels. Changing channels works about 10 percent of the time. I'm hoping Google Assistant and Samsung are working to fix this channel changing issue on the Samsung 7 Series TV.

    We Have had our Samsung TV for almost 2 years now and have had no trouble with it. From local tv, internet, and subsription channels. NO PROBLEM.

    OK, but doesn't work with Polk soundbar

    TV by itself is fine, but connectivity is substandard. First- constantly drops internet connectivity. Second- Won't stay connected to my Polk soundbar, requires going into the settings to turn back on Anynet+ every time you turn off the TV. I've been through numerous "fixes" with the Samsung tech support line, including updating software, updating firmware, and even resetting the TV (losing all connections, all downloaded channel apps etc). Nothing has worked. I have 2 other older Samsung TVs that have worked flawlessly for 5+ years, but this one has been constant trouble in the 6 months I've owned it. Might just be my set that's bad but at this point I've been told by Samsung I'm stuck with it, must be I have bad internet and I should get rid of the Polk and get a Samsung soundbar. Funny, the other older Samsung TV connected to the same internet works just fine. Sorry I bought this one.

    DOES NO DISPLAY SMART ICONS AT BOTTOM OF SCREEN TO QUICK ACCESS, OTHERWISE FINE TV. BUT UNDER 3 YEARS OLD AND ALREADY OBSOLETE.

    Stay away from Samsung! I had this tv for less then a month and the sound on connected devices went out. The sound on the pre-installed apps worked, yet nothing else. After working with the support team, they requested I send it back for a refund. The problem was I did not have the original box still. They told me they would reimburse me for the packaging. That still has not happened. They keep passing me off to another department who says to contact the other. Customer service is horrible and does not understand the problem. There is definitely a language barrier when you try to explain the issues. I have been on the phone several times, and do not feel any of them truly understood, and no record of what the previous agent did. Emailing is also horrible. I tried placing a review on the company's website, after recieving a confirmation email, I get an error and the review does not post. Their top reviews are noted incentivized. They get something for reviewing. I spent more time trying to fix the problem then watching the tv.

    Does not work with headset - really dumb smart TV

    Our kids bought us the Samsung Series 7 55 inch TV for Xmas. Very excited to get this amazing gift until we tried to use it. My husband is hard of hearing and uses a headset to watch TV. This model does not work with headsets without a lot of extra steps and purchases. Had to buy another new headset with optical output and still did not work. There is no ability to use both TV speakers and optimal or Bluetooth. Finally got it to work after three days, three trips to Best a buy and hours on support calls. Found a work around but every time he turns off the Bluetooth head we have to manually go into settings and add the Bluetooth head again. Returning the Samsung for an LG tomorrow

    I’ve had this TV for four months and I tried to turn the tv on and it will not turn on . I have tried for two days to get this tv to turn on trying multiple trouble shooting techniques. I called Best Buy and they said there was nothing they could do since it has been four months.

    We recently purchased this tv and had to return a few days later due to the poor picture quality. The picture looked like it has a white cast when looking from the side. Even after trying several different color and picture settings the issue remained. When streaming the shows would also get stuck and freeze when transitioning from the last commercial to the program. The sales person in the store recommended buying a higher end television stating that the picture quality on these is not the best. We own several different tv’s, including an older, less expensive Samsung and sharp television and never had this issue like this . Not sure if our set was defective but the quality was def poor in our experience.

    I don’t usually write a review but this Samsung 50 inch 4K hd Is by far worst picture ! Nothing like in store ! Have tried every adjustment to picture and still looks washed Sound is muffled since speakers in rear. All in all. It’s money wasted! I see good reviews but who’s writing. This is I guess what you get for 349.00 cheap. I replaced with a plasma that is beautiful pic but not smart What a waste

    If they cut corners on the feet they probably went cheap with other parts as well. Come on, it’s 2019. Samsung can do better. I know because I have a Samsung tv that came with a beautiful stand. Get your act together. People are tired of cheap!
