    18 months old and rarely used so very exasperated that we turn it on to find all it does is to repeatedly power on and off. It won’t stay on long enough to even find the home screen to check for a software update. Must unplug it to stop the cycle. Also not pleased to find that the warranty was truly only 12 months. And, multiple other reviews sharing this same issue with no manufacturer support for the defect.

    The manual and other instructions imply that a home theatre, such as a Marantz, can be connected such that audio originating from the TV can be sent to the Marantz through the HDMI earc cable. This is incorrect since only the Optical Audio cable should be used.
