A Family Favorite in Our Loft/Game Room

We recently added the Samsung 50” Class CU7000 Crystal UHD 4K Smart Tizen TV to our loft/game room, and it's been an absolute hit with the family, especially the kids. The TV's sleek design fits perfectly into the casual, fun atmosphere of the space. It's not just a device; it's part of our family's entertainment hub.
The 4K picture quality is the standout feature. Whether it's for watching movies, streaming shows, or gaming, the clarity and color vibrancy it offers is remarkable. The kids' animated movies look particularly stunning, with colors popping in a way that keeps them completely captivated. Gaming on this TV is a visual treat too. The details in the game graphics are sharp and immersive, making our gaming sessions much more enjoyable.
Smart features are another aspect where this TV shines. The Tizen operating system is user-friendly and intuitive, which is great since the kids often use it themselves to access their favorite content. The variety of apps available ensures that there's always something for every family member.
The sound quality is quite decent for a TV of this size and price range. While it's not the same as having a dedicated sound system, it certainly does the job for our casual viewing and gaming needs. We've never felt the need to supplement it with external speakers.
One minor drawback is the remote control, which feels a bit basic in design and functionality. However, it's easy enough for the kids to use, which is a plus in a family-friendly environment like ours.
In terms of value for money, this TV is a winner. It delivers high-end features and performance at a price that doesn't break the bank, making it an excellent choice for families looking for quality entertainment on a budget.
In summary, the Samsung 50” Class CU7000 Crystal UHD 4K Smart Tizen TV has been a fantastic addition to our loft/game room. Its combination of superb picture quality, smart features, and family-friendly usability makes it a hit with both adults and kids alike. It's a purchase that has enhanced our family's entertainment experience significantly.

I've been using the Samsung Crystal UHD 50” Class CU7000 for the past few months, and it has been an outstanding addition to my home entertainment setup. Here’s why I highly recommend it:
**Pros:**
1. **Stunning Picture Quality**: The Crystal UHD display delivers exceptionally clear and vibrant visuals. The 4K resolution brings out incredible detail, and the color accuracy is impressive. Watching movies and TV shows on this TV is a truly immersive experience.
2. **Crystal Processor 4K**: The powerful Crystal Processor 4K ensures that all content, whether native 4K or lower resolution, is upscaled beautifully. This means even older shows and non-4K content look sharp and clear, maximizing the TV's potential.
3. **Slim and Sleek Design**: The TV's slim profile and sleek design make it a stylish addition to any room. It fits seamlessly into my living space, and the narrow bezels provide a more expansive viewing experience.
4. **Smart TV Features**: The built-in smart TV capabilities are fantastic. The interface is user-friendly and responsive, with easy access to all my favorite streaming apps like Netflix, Disney+, and Amazon Prime Video. The included remote makes navigation simple and intuitive.
5. **HDR Performance**: The HDR10+ support enhances the dynamic range, providing deeper blacks and brighter whites. This adds a lot of depth and realism to the viewing experience, particularly in high-contrast scenes.
6. **Gaming Performance**: The TV performs exceptionally well for gaming. The low input lag and Game Mode optimize settings for a smoother and more responsive gaming experience. The visuals are stunning, and the gameplay is incredibly fluid.
7. **Sound Quality**: The built-in speakers deliver clear and balanced sound. While it doesn’t replace a dedicated sound system, it’s more than adequate for everyday viewing. The TV also supports Bluetooth audio, making it easy to connect external speakers or headphones.
8. **Connectivity**: The range of connectivity options is excellent, with multiple HDMI and USB ports, as well as Ethernet and Wi-Fi capabilities. This makes it easy to connect all my devices, from gaming consoles to streaming sticks.
**Cons:**
1. **Viewing Angles**: The viewing angles are decent but not perfect. The picture quality slightly diminishes when viewed from extreme angles. However, this is a minor issue for me as I usually watch TV from a central position.
2. **Remote Design**: While the remote is functional and easy to use, it could benefit from a backlight for easier use in dark environments. This is a small nitpick, but it would improve the overall user experience.
3. **Sound System**: Although the built-in speakers are good, audiophiles might prefer to invest in a soundbar or external speakers for a more immersive audio experience. The TV’s sound is clear, but additional equipment can enhance the experience further.
Overall, the Samsung Crystal UHD 50” Class CU7000 has exceeded my expectations. The stunning picture quality, powerful processor, and smart features make it a standout choice for anyone looking to upgrade their home entertainment system. Despite a few minor drawbacks, its performance and value for money make it an excellent investment. If you’re in the market for a high-quality 4K TV, the CU7000 is definitely worth considering.

This is the second tv of this model I have purchased. It is easy to set up and use and has a clear picture. Although the remote isn’t backlit, it is easy to use even in the dark once you know where the buttons are generally located. Excellent quality at an affordable price point. Best Buy is easy to work with and has a great inventory.

Great picture, easy to set up and get connected to the internet and the apps that I wanted on the tv. The tv does most of the work, all you need is your passwords to complete the install. Like many of the other customers I think the remote is too small and lacks features, however the tv seems great.

Upgraded our master bedroom Samsung 43" tv to this new Samsung 50" TV. LOVE the Smart features/Apps. I no longer need to hook up my Google Hub or Firestick to the HDMI port. All Apps come available with the TV. The picture is Crystal sharp and the refresh rate is fast. Very crisp tv display. I've connected the audio to a SONOS soundbar. Very quick and easy to set up the TV and speaker. Samsung has another winner. All 3 TVs in my home are SAMSUNG. I will always by Samsung TVs. They are the BEST!

Purchased this TV after my LG i had for years finally gave up on working. For the price at the time i was skeptical that the color and picture would be comparable to my LG. After setting it up at home i was blown away at the quality of the picture and the vividness of the colors. Highly recommend this TV for anyone else looking for great quality image bundled with vivid colors without breaking the bank.

The samsung is very easy to use, great picture and easy set up. The two caveats were the legs, we replaced an older tv that had centered legs, we didn't pay attention that the legs were spread out. I know most people mount the tvs these days. Also this is in a shared cottage, it requires a samsung account, so make sure you have one or know how to set one up. Besides that samsung does not dissapoint, great entry level tv.

This television proves that price doesn't dictate quality. This television has been one of the best electronics purchases I've ever made. Disclaimer: This is the first television I've purchased in over ten years. My old television had dead pixels and a picture that was becoming more washed out every day. So, almost anything would impress me compared to what I was using. This television is a feature packed powerhouse. The various pre-programmed picture modes fit nearly every viewing experience you could hope to find from gaming, to live sports, to evening sitcoms, and everything in the middle. You also have some custom options for fine tuning the television, which is nice if you have a room that gets a lot of outside light or other interference that can wash out colors. The colors of the 4K UD screen are so bright and vibrant that the viewing experience feels lifelike without reaching the uncanny valley where things just look weird. There's also an amazing viewing angle unlike my old television where you could lose the image much less further to the side than here. It's not quite 270 degrees, but close enough for most living room setups. The item description says that center is the best viewing angle which is almost always the case. The screen is edge-lit, which is known for leaving pockets of uneven color, but I haven't experienced this. I imagine you would experience this most when viewing at extreme angles. The television itself will connect directly to your wifi and comes loaded with all your favorite streaming services including Samsung TV plus. This service is free and has an absurd number of channels to watch. Samsung has really stepped up their game with TV Plus. The sound isn't the best but it's really good. I have mine paired with a couple Alexa Echos and I get a fantastic immersive sound experience when watching almost everything this TV can play. Samsung TV owner, you really get a lot with this television.

We LOVE IT! The remote took a little getting used to since it’s different from the older version, but I like how it’s smaller. Once you get used to it; you don’t really notice a difference! Picture quality is great, all in all haven’t had any issues! This is the 4th Samsung TV, in our house! My Fiancé loves the SmartThings app that you can use to turn the volume up and down or turn the TV’s off and on if you can’t find the remotes (or if the kids forget to turn the tv off when we leave the house!) we don’t plan on ever buying a different brand other than Samsung for our TV’s!

I am extremely happy with the 50 inch Samsung Crystal TV that I purchased. Oddly enough, I have never purchased any Samsung products, but I am a huge fan now! This TV is fantastic: it's a beautiful picture, setup was easy, great features, fantastic sound quality, and the Samsung TV plus is a really a plus. I Just love it! Great picture quality for the price. Vivid colors, easy to navigate menus. One thing I don't like is when you turn it on it automatically chooses which app to open within 5 seconds of viewing the main menu. Other than that it's great.

Remember when TV remotes had a bunch of buttons and it was a matter of finding the right one?
This TV has a simple Roku-esque remote that doesn't have a button for changing the input. Instead you get to press Home and navigate through a bunch of menus like it's a phone. But hey, there are dedicated buttons for Disney and Amazon. -_- and the ads that pop up once you connect it to the Internet. Ugh.
It's a shame because the picture looks great but navigating the menus is a pain in the rear. Bring back dumb TVs, please.
