    Sorry I bought open box

    I bought this open box TV. What a disappointment. The box arrived in pieces. The only items in the box were the TV screen and the remote. There was no power cable, no legs for the TV, no instructions or paperwork. I took the TV back to Best Buy and they asked me if the screen turned on. I said I had no idea since I was not provided a power cable. I was told that they had to make sure the TV would power on before I could return it. I will never again buy open box items from Best Buy.

    You have to use the Samsung app to use Apple TV and other apps. As someone who works in this type data for a living - this is pathetic. No need to do this from Samsung - it’s just walling content so they can get you signed up and then they can sell your info. Gross - my last Samsung purchase right here

      We appreciate your feedback on the DU8000 TV interface. Please know you can access your apps, such as Apple TV from the TV's Home Menu. On your remote, press the Home button and it will take you to the main menu which hosts your apps.

    Terrible customer service, failed to deliver twice, cancelled my order and bought another TV from Amazon that was delivered as promised.

    Wonder why all the positive reviews are 'incentivized'??? Not a bad tv. Unless you don't like to be forced ads on streaming services, including the ones that you pay extra for so as not to have to deal with ads. Can't avoid forced ads on samsung. To be avoided!

      Thank you for your feedback on the DU8000 TV remote. Samsung remotes are designed to be convenient and useful, but we understand if you’d prefer to use a third-party remote, whether it’s a universal remote, a game controller, or something else!

      Please know you can also connect your Android or Apple phone to your TV via the SmartThings app.

    Everything is good, delivery went awesome very friendly guys. My dogs fell in love with them, they were kind to them and I appreciate that..it was funny they did not know what a peacock was and they were scared of them and they are a harmless bird are scared of you. Thank you so much.

    Terrible sound

    The sound on the DU8000 is terrible. I have it up to 35 and still can barely hear it. The Game Show Network has no sound. I did all the troubleshooting I could find on the internet for sound and it didn’t change a thing. My old tv was 1000 times better on sound than this.

      Hi Texieannie,

      Thank you for sharing your experience with low volume. There are several volume features you can adjust, which may improve your audio experience.

      1) Auto Volume automatically adjusts the sound to a certain level when changing channels or switching to another external input. Go to Settings > All Settings> Sound > Expert Settings > Auto Volume.

      2) Adaptive Sound automatically adjusts to a specific volume level while watching TV. The TV analyzes your volume usage history by time period to automatically adjust the volume when you use an app or switch to an external input source. Go to Settings> All Settings> Sound> Sound Mode> Adaptive Sound.

      3) Several Sound Modes are likewise available to meet your personal preferences: Home > Settings > All Settings> Sound > Sound Mode.

      Also, some sources have their own volume control, which might need to be set higher. Please check the volume control of the external device (cable box or satellite box, DVD, Blu-ray, etc.) connected to your TV. Also, check the cable connection between an external device and the TV and then try the cable connection again.

      If you are not hearing any sound, please try the following:

      1)Set Sound Output to the TV Speaker by going to Settings > All Settings> Sound > Sound Output.

      2) Check whether Digital Output Audio Format is set to Pass-Through by going to Settings > All Settings> Sound > Expert Settings > Digital Output Audio Format > Auto.
