That’s what takes away from the experience, This was different from what I experienced in the store.

We appreciate your input on the picture quality of Samsung's Q60D TV. If the image you’re seeing doesn't meet your expectations, there are several adjustments you can make to the picture settings.
Go to Home > Menu > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode
...and select the mode that best fits your usage:
1. Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments
2. Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments
3. Eco: Provided to save energy
4. Movie: Suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room
5. Filmmaker Mode: Provides source content just as the creators intended. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it’ll automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching.
Intelligent Mode enables the TV to recognize and analyze the surroundings, noise, content, and your usage patterns to provide the best viewing experience. You can enable Intelligent Mode by going to Menu > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Intelligent Mode Settings > Intelligent Mode.

The Peoria Illinois store was very good about replacing it. They said a small percentage of tv's come like that. The salesman was very good.

Not issues to date - but only have it for about one month. Love the look and easy to access other services (streaming services). Really do like that.

However, an average user won't tell the difference. The OS is loaded with bloatware and needs some work in order to block data collection. In the end, I think it's overpriced compared to competitors.

Within a week of my original purchase, the same TV went on sale for $50 less than my purchase price. Best Buy promptly gave me a $50 credit - which was fair.
