When my wife looked at the picture, she was disappointed. We spoke to the Samson representative. He showed/told us the good and bad of the 4k tv's BB carried. After a good bit of looking and listening, under NO PRESSURE from him, we went back to him and bought the one we liked best of the offerings we could afford. He helped us match a sound system to the tv, checked us out, and even carried the tv to our truck! So, if you want the straight skinny on which tv to buy, come to BestBuy! After a month+/- of viewing, we're still VERY HAPPY!

I kept comparing to my 10 year old Samsung and thinking, "why did I spend this money?" I never got the brightness right no matter what I did. Dark scenes looked washed out. Even golf...it looked a bit like it was in a light fog. If you go to Settings>General>Edo Solution and turn up the minimum brightness, that helps...or turn off Ambient Light Detection all together: that helps. The backlighting, on a clear blue screen, you can see the left side is quite a bit brighter than the right side. ??? I gave up. Returned the Q60 and put down my money for a Q70 series. Far, far better. Just pry some money out of your wallet and go straight to the Q70 series.
