Every indoor scene is way too dark and a character's features are indistinguishable. No low-light contrast at all. Evidently we need to pay $200 more for the Q70 if we want contrast. Very disappointed, and product was returned.

Issues from Day 1
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had issues with this tv since day 1. It often flickers when dealing with a lot dark and light content simultaneously. In addition, it struggles with scrolling text, exhibiting even more intense flickering. These flickering issues are even worse when dealing with 4k. Also, this tv is terrible when viewing at an angle. However, the final nail in the coffin is a recent issue with lines across the screen when displaying uniform content, such as menus or dark scenes from a movie (noticeable lines 6 inches from the top and 6 inches from the bottom, with others faintly in-between, dead pixels?). I called Samsung and they are sending out a technician. I was not given the option to return or exchange the tv. I'm disappointed. I hope it's just a "lemon" and that I can get it fixed or replaced soon.

I am very sorry that you are experiencing issues with your Q60T TV and are currently waiting for a service appointment. While you are waiting, you may want to try the following:
1) Check the antenna and input cable connections
2) Check the antenna and HDMI cable connections
3) If the issue persists, define exactly what is wrong with the display. For example, mosaics and blocks, multiple lines or white dots, fixed horizontal, or vertical lines
4) Try changing channels using the remote control. Is the issue the same on all channels?
5) Press the Home button (looks like a house), select Source, choose another input source. Is the issue the same on all sources?
6) If the same problem persists, run a diagnostic test. (Home > Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Picture Test)
7) If the problem disappears during the test, check your TV signal
(Home > Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Signal Information) to check the signal strength. Signal strength must be more than 20 dB (more than 4 bars on the icon) for stable signal reception

Buyers Beware
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.If you are buying this tv and you think that you are good at least for a year with 1 year warranty, don’t buy it. We bought this tv last August and before the end of one year warranty, horizontal and vertical lines appeared in late May. I contacted Samsung, the representative I talked on the phone asked for the pictures of problem and decided that it was physical damage. Btw There is even no scratch on tv. But I requested technical inspection of it. He opened a ticket and told me that someone will contact me and come and check tv. Nobody contacted. After that I called twice to follow up and they told me someone’d contact but nothing happened. I think they are waiting for our one year warranty to end.
