Honestly thought this tv would be a great upgrade from my 5 year old dying tcl smart tv. This is the iphone of tvs they give you very limited settings to set and adjust as if you the consumer are 5 years old. I hate the lack of ambient mode all I want is the screensaver to display a clock with the weather for the day. The picture looks great when theres color. When displaying blacks there is about 6 sections on my unit with really bad splotching and light bleed. For 500 clams im quite disappointed. Id rather have a 300 smacker tcl thats gonna do what I want and couldnt care less about things like light bleed because it was only 300 bucks. Save the money theres cheaper tvs with better quality and more features.

This television was a gift to replace one of our main televisions. We thought it wasn't necessary, but agreed to update our 7 year old television. We were overwhelmed by the difference in picture quality-I guess the update was needed. I love the many features the Samsung TV offers that we were not aware of-It makes me want to update another TV with a Samsung. Our experience with the Best Buy team was amazing. They were most accommodating and genuinely helpful.

Bought to Replace old bedroom tv not disappointed great picture & love the features

Picture and sound Quality is very good. I found it a little difficult to find apps. I'd buy it again.

I purchased this Samsung 50” QLED Smart TV to replace a 20+ year old 42” Panasonic flat screen TV. The new Samsung is terrific, it was easy to set up and use immediately. It weighs about half what the Panasonic weighed, generates almost no heat and should use much less electricity. The color, sharpness and sound are all excellent. An interesting feature is the remote, which is small and is rechargeable by connection to a usb-c cable or by solar light. Best Buy's salesperson was exceptionally helpful in sorting out the many smart tv options and addressing my particular needs.

The picture quality is amazing. It was easy to set up although the remote needed a lear ing curve. It has all the connections we need.

The sound is surprisingly good without needing external speakers. It was easy to set up, very intuitive to use, and all the apps run fast and smoothly. The Samsung Q8 F was a valuable addition to my bedroom entertainment setup. It has proven to be an exceptional TV, especially after my disappointing experience with one of Sony‘s higher-end models, which did not meet my expectations in terms of picture quality and reliability. Overall, Samsung has improved my viewing experience with their newer models. I own a C5 LG OLED, which I absolutely love for its deep blacks and vibrant colors. However, I was not willing to spend the exorbitant amount of money I had invested in my previous TV for my living room. I was simply looking for a TV that was sufficiently bright, capable of playing video games smoothly, and able to handle 4K content with native resolution settings. Fortunately, the Samsung Q8 F not only meets these requirements but also features a 144 Hz gaming mode, something most TVs of its kind cannot even support, providing a much better gaming experience.

Purchased this TV last year and it is amazing. Setup was easy. The picture quality is outstanding with the availability to adjust as needed. Amazingly it has several more features which connects my other Samsung products as Laptop and Phone. It is a Smart TV that is easy to use. I do use my old Samsung remote as I am still learning how to use the one provided. At 80 years old I am slow to learn. But, again, this TV itself was very helpful in teaching me how to use all the features. It has so many. I recommend it highly.

Have had this TV for a few weeks now and am very happy with my purchase. It was very easy to set up, took between 10 and 15 minutes. Feels sturdy. I like that the feet are flat, it sits more firmly on my desk than my last TV. I use this TV in my bedroom with an Apple TV and as a monitor for my laptop. Picture quality is good. Sound is also good, I don’t have a soundbar hooked up to it and can hear it just fine. If you want a solid TV that doesn’t break the bank, this is a good buy.

We have consistently purchased Samsung televisions throughout the years. They have always been state of the art in picture quality, sound and ease of application. The set up’s have been easy and pairing with remote sound systems is flawless. Samsung is constantly providing the consumer with a wide range of sizes and features with appeal to everyone. We are very pleased with the easy set up and variety of streaming options. A must buy when we decide to upgrade.

The Samsung 50” QLED Q8F that we purchased is very good. I give it 4 1/2 stars. The picture is great, the set up was relatively easy, figuring out the SmartTechnology was not too bad for us older folks not used to these type of products. The sound could be better, but nothing a sound bar couldn’t handle. Over all pleased with the product and the service from Best Buy

This is my 2nd Samsung TV and I love it. The picture is so clear, the brightness during movies is great. It's easy to navigate.

Excellent TV! The picture and sound quality are great. The brightness settings offer several options, and the colors can be as dynamic as you like. The remote control is also great — it’s solar-powered, so no batteries are needed and it can also be recharged via USB-C. So far, I’m totally satisfied.

I upgraded to this “smart tv” from a 14 year old Samsung “smart tv”. It is MUCH smarter with many conveniences, including many free stations vis the internet, and access to digital broadcast tv as well. The picture and sound are excellent. And it accommodates an optical sound bar. And Apple AirPlay works with it too.

This television has a beautiful picture and many features. It was easy to set up. Remote control is very minimalist and took some getting used to.

Great picture and easy setup. Sound is only so so especially if you are in a large room. Get a sound bar.

For a mid priced TV this is a great one. We will be adding a soundbar to it soon. Easy setup. Even this dummie could figure it out! Remote is too small for our fat fingers though!

This tv is perfect light and high end quality. Easy to install and setup.
