Great TV for 6 1/2 months

After 6 1/2 months, it developed some type of glitch where I couldn’t get it to open any apps. The Samsung people walked me through a series of steps to try to fix it several times with no success. Then they tried resetting it to factory settings and that didn’t work. They were going to send someone out to repair it but after several days I was told that there was nobody in my area to send. I had a choice of a new tv or a refund. I chose the refund. It was not an easy process. Almost 2 months later, it’s supposed to arrive today. Just so you know BEST BUY DOESN’T PROVIDE ANY CUSTOMER SUPPORT FOR SAMSUNG TVS. You have to deal with Samsung. I don’t know if this applies to other brands. Best Buy only sells them and makes money from them.

I didn't give it a 5 because the first TV didn't show up. I had to chat with someone with best buy to get another one shipped out. The box Samsung used didn't have anything on the box just said QN90C. It does look good in 4K but if you don't have 4K its no point in buying a TV that has it. I have direct tv and its only 1080i Some of the channels look okay but the old TV was just as clear if not clearer. This new TV also went on sale by the time I received it. So I paid $200 more for it then I should have.

We appreciate you sharing your delivery experience - and do not worry - your TV arriving in a brown box is normal. We have introduced Samsung Eco-packaging for our TVs. Your TV box is specially designed to be upcycled for your contribution to the environment.
The QN90C TV will upscale as best as possible any content sent to it. The closer your content is to 4K, the better the image will look on the screen.
Here are some tips to help improve the picture clarity:
1) HDMI cables are recommended for optimal HD viewing.
2) If you have an analog cable box or satellite box, upgrade to a digital cable box or satellite box.
3) Change the output resolution of your devices, such as digital broadcast receiver, IPTV, and set-top box to UHD or HD.
4) You can further adjust your sharpness, brightness, contrast, color, and more by going to Menu > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings
5) Choose a Picture Mode by going to Menu > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode and choose from Dynamic, Movie, or Filmmaker Mode.
