    Extremely dispappointed in Samsung and Warranty

    I’ve been a Samsung TV customer for many years, but this experience has ended that loyalty. I purchased this TV less than two months ago, and it quickly developed horizontal lines across the screen. Samsung’s own Self Diagnosis Picture Test failed, confirming a hardware defect. Despite this, resolving the issue has been unnecessarily frustrating. Even with clear evidence of a defective panel on a nearly new TV, I was required to go through repeated troubleshooting steps and now must wait for an in-home technician visit just to confirm what is already obvious. I requested an advanced replacement to avoid downtime, but was told that wasn’t possible at this stage. For a brand-new TV, this process feels unreasonable and outdated. A modern electronics company should stand behind its products and make replacements simple when defects are confirmed. I expected better from Samsung, and unfortunately this experience ensures I won’t be purchasing another Samsung TV again.

    Smart Tizen TV Interface Subpar

    Purchased this for my father-in law as he is used to the Samsung remoter. I am not a fan of the Smart Tizen TV interface. Other interfaces I have used are more user friendly.

      We’re sorry to hear you’re not fully satisfied with the picture quality on your Samsung U7900F TV. If the image appears too dark, we suggest disabling certain energy-saving features, which can automatically adjust brightness and affect how the screen looks.

      Go to: Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Power and Energy Saving, then turn off Brightness Optimization, Energy Saving Solution, Motion Lighting, and/or Contrast Enhancer.

      You can also adjust the Picture Mode to better suit your environment: Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode
      • Standard – Default mode for general viewing
      • Dynamic – Brighter and clearer, ideal for well-lit rooms
      • Movie – Best for dark room viewing
      • Eco – Energy-saving mode
      • Filmmaker Mode – Preserves content as intended by creators

      To fine-tune brightness, go to: Home > left directional key > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings, then adjust the Brightness level (0–50) to your preference.

    Samsung budget tv not worth it

    This is the bottom line of Samsung tv. No voice command, only enough storage for 8 apps. Picture quality just ok. My fire tv i purchased from best buy blows this one away.. if youre going to go Samsung route, its best to purchase th$1200-$1700 version

      Thank you for sharing your experience with us. If your U7900 TV's internal memory is insufficient, you can install some specific apps on a USB device. You can also remove select apps you no longer want and free up memory space on your TV.

      We also recommend running a Cold boot on the TV. With the TV on, press and hold the power button on your Samsung remote for about 5 seconds, until the TV powers off and back on again. This clears the cache.

      If the image doesn’t quite match your preferences, there are several adjustments you can make to better suit your viewing environment and content type.

      First, please ensure your TV is running the latest firmware, as updates may include important picture quality enhancements. Go to: Home > Left directional button > Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now

      To explore picture mode options, navigate to: Home > Left directional button > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode. Options include:
      • Standard – Ideal for general viewing
      • Dynamic – Brighter and more vibrant for well-lit spaces
      • Eco – Optimized for energy efficiency

    This Tv was very difficult to set up, if I could I would take it back and buy a Toshiba , does not have have enough USB ports to set up additional equipment, if i knew this would had never purchased, volume is terrible, picture quality is normally, nothing special, my cheaper tv is better quality then this purchase.

    No AV hookups

    I had to return the tv because it had no AV hookups and I have DVD machines and movies that I like to watch. That was a disappointment.Needed TV with AV hookups.

    Tv is great. Got it delivered and they had some third party company deliver it. Picked it up at 1 pm on Sunday and drove around Nashville with it all day. Didn’t decide to deliver it till 12 am at NIGHT. Mind you temp out side with mid 20s, and the dumbahh delivery driver thought it was a great idea to leave outside at night in that weather. Thank goodness I was up and could go get it, but how ridiculous. I’ll never order from Best Buy again.
