Open Box Excellent Is what you say!! But the truth, shipping box had a "Best Buy" label saying "container damaged", pick up only, do not ship! They shipped! They shipped a broken TV. It a broken container. It's been over 2 weeks no refund no word YOU SHIPPED ME A BROKEN TV!!?

This TV is fantastic! The picture quality is sharp and vibrant, with bright colors and deep contrast. The sound is surprisingly clear without needing a soundbar, and the smart features are easy to use and responsive. Setup was quick and straightforward. Overall, excellent value for the price—I’m very happy with this purchase.

Good picture for myself and kids. Super light and easy to set up on a TV mount. Easy interface set up and works with different app remotes as I have Samsung and my daughter has iPhone. Speakers surprisingly good. Haven't had any problems so far.

The best tv I have ever owned. It has so many features that my previous tvs never had. If you're a gamer this tv is definitely the one for you. I love the interface with all of its easy to use options. The price was like a give away, considering I paid way more for the same size tv that cannot match up to tis Samsung 50". I am well pleased with my purchase. I would truly recommend this to someone.

The TV worked as expected but I was surprised to find that there was no optical outlet on the TV. This was really disappointing for me as I have an older Bose stereo system that can only be connected by an optical connection. I was going to bite the bullet on this because of the upgraded cost being much higher for a model with the optical out. I would figure some work around with a converter but then I noticed there was a blemish on the screen. That kind of ended that for that TV. I ended up swapping the TV for an open box TV with an optical output, realizing some real savings. Don’t get me wrong. If you are interested in a basic TV with two HDMI ports. and nothing more, this could be the TV for you, depending on what you wanna spend, and if you’ll be hooking it up to a receiver, which only requires one HDMI – ARC port which it has. assuming of course, that your receiver has HDMI ports. The picture was OK and the sound was OK so depending on what you need, you could be covered!

Bought this on sale and for the price it is a very good picture with great color and definition and the sound quality is also very good. It is not a $800+ plus TV so don't expect that but is surprisingly good. Only draw back would be the lack of inputs other than 2 HDMI and a digital audio it is very limited but again it shows that in description and should not be expected.

Picture is fantastic, crisp and bright, overall construction is good, but its not as premium like you might expect. Picture is where all the money went, the body is thin plastic and its not super flat, its a bit thicker but its fine. The ui is takes some getting used to but it's also fine and has some unique features. Pros: picture and audio are greaat! Its slso very, very cheap for what you get. Cons: the build quality is slighty flimsy, its not super flat, and the ui is kinda clunky/slow. The remote is really thin small and flimsy, I'd suggest replacing it if that bothers you

Really good tv for the price I paid. Good picture. Very easy set up. And as I don’t have cable the Samsung plus channels are an absolute plus. Would recommend. Doesn’t have a port for an optical cable it has an e hdmi so need that cable if you have a sound bar.

I purchased in June 2025, the Samsung 50" Class U7900 Series UHD 4K Smart Tizen TV (2025). First, Best Buy was disappointing in that the online sales rep clearly stated that if I ordered the TV that day, I would receive my TV within the next two days. That didn't happen; needless to say, I was very disappointed as I was purchasing the TV for my guest room...was having guest that upcoming weekend. At any rate, the TV, itself, was beyond easy to assemble. It seems to be a great TV. The only issue is the volume seems to be low (even when turned up to 28 DBa). My previous TVs were good on level 16-18 (and no, I don't have hearing loss). Otherwise, great TV. It has a beautiful color reflection.

love this tv imensley. Superior picture for the price and features I could not be happier. Not to mention im able to link my samsung phone and cuputer with minimal effort. Love the samsung eco system so thats a big plus

This is a good TV with clear picture, multiple visual settings (be sure to take it off Eco mode for a better viewing experience, which is the default setting!), and integrates with the Smart Things app from Samsung. Unfortunately, the voice recognition is terrible on the Samsung Smart Things app, but it is pretty easy to navigate the TV and streaming menus on your phone, which is a big plus. The price is excellent and for the 50" TV, the stand was just low-profile enough that we could have it fit safely on our mantle, meaning we didn't have to mount it. There are a few things that I would have preferred this TV have, such as an AV hookup (I can get an AV to HDMI adaptor, though), integrated voice control (that actually works) in the remote itself, and an easier setup, as setup did take some time. However, for the price and the fact that it fits our space perfectly, I can't be too upset. It's a good quality TV with a good integrated app and setting up all the streaming services on it was easy. I do wish that it didn't default to Nickelodeon every time we turn it on (perhaps there is a way I can change that that I haven't figured out yet) and that searching movies defaulted to the app that has the movie you are looking for, rather than pushing you to watch it on Plex with an additional subscription, but overall it is a good TV with just a few functionalities and hiccups that keep it from getting a 5 star review.

Easy to use it! Great color and delivery was on time

Slow and annoying menus when you first boot up. Using with a firetv stick and despite getting the settings correct, 20% of the time it loaded into its own smart menu. It’s a cheap TV. Image is ok but not great compared to most other TV’s. It’s light and the legs just snap in. Remote is fine and responsive.

Few ports, no room for a soundbar. The remote control can be broken by a baby. Good price if you just watch tv and have no other gizmos that need to be connected. Only 2 HDMI ports. I shouldn't complain too much, tv has good picture. I replaced the old Samsung with this one, hopefully it will last longer than 3 years.

Quick online service. Tv was ready within a couple hours and was easy to set up and amazing quality!

Great picture and size for my extra bedroom. Liked it so much we bought another for my kids room
