And as I don’t have cable the Samsung plus channels are an absolute plus. Would recommend. Doesn’t have a port for an optical cable it has an e hdmi so need that cable if you have a sound bar.

First, Best Buy was disappointing in that the online sales rep clearly stated that if I ordered the TV that day, I would receive my TV within the next two days. That didn't happen; needless to say, I was very disappointed as I was purchasing the TV for my guest room...was having guest that upcoming weekend. At any rate, the TV, itself, was beyond easy to assemble. It seems to be a great TV. The only issue is the volume seems to be low (even when turned up to 28 DBa). My previous TVs were good on level 16-18 (and no, I don't have hearing loss). Otherwise, great TV. It has a beautiful color reflection.

It provides a clear image and variety of display options if you're running several devices. I use it to watch live Samsung TV (a fantastic feature), as well as a screen for my desktop. The delay on live gaming such as CoD is minimal. Very satisfied with this purchase - don't sleep on those affordable Samsung TVs.

Using with a firetv stick and despite getting the settings correct, 20% of the time it loaded into its own smart menu. It’s a cheap TV. Image is ok but not great compared to most other TV’s. It’s light and the legs just snap in. Remote is fine and responsive.

The tv is great, but the remote is not suitable for my elderly mom, she's 74 and fusses about it often. I am seeking an alternative remote for her. I dislike it as well, idk if it is specific apps or the remote itself, but occasionally it just doesn't work.

Good price if you just watch tv and have no other gizmos that need to be connected. Only 2 HDMI ports. I shouldn't complain too much, tv has good picture. I replaced the old Samsung with this one, hopefully it will last longer than 3 years.

I've always liked Samsung products so when I saw this one I quickly decided to buy it. The beginning of a nightmare. I also have a large Samsung monitor. I like to work on various tasks at the computer while watching TV at night. When you turn the TV off the montor turns off also.I f you switch channels on the TV, the monitor switches to TV mode and starts playing random TV cliips, sometimes when you turn the TV on the moitor turns off or when you turn the monitor on the TV turns off. You get the idea. I could not find a way to deal with this and I can't take it anymore so I am returning the TV.

We appreciate the details of your U7900 TV turning on and off external connected devices. Your TV may be sending a CEC command to turn the last HDMI source on. You can disable the CEC by going to Settings > All Settings > Connection > External Device Manager > Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC) = off
