Very satisfied with this product. I have a 4K 60" Samsung TV with Bluetooth so this soundbar was a breeze to setup via Bluetooth. I will caution that this soundbar is meant to be used in a small family room type with around 300-400 sq ft. If you have a larger room then you may want to look at some different options because you'd most likely be disappointed with this product. But again, with a small room, this is a must have accessory to any TV especially with Samsung.

This item replaced an older Bose system. I purchased this sound bar today. Set up was less than 10 minutes out of the box. The only complaint was pairing the woofer to the sound bar, it took several tries but I finally got them to pair. Excellent sound quality. I strongly recommend this product to anyone looking for an entry level to mid range sound bar.

Let me start out by saying WOW!! This is my first time buying a sound bar and I am pleasantly surprised with HW-J550 Samsung Sound Bar. Hook up was a snap and results were immediate and pleasing to the ear. After months of researching, reading reviews, and test listening other brands, I stumbled on this unit with surprising results. The HW-J550 had what I wanted, power and great sound. The unit does come with one (1) HDMI port, a USB and Aux port, and included an optical cord, but the HDMI port was a deal maker for me for my audio needs. Of course everyone is different, and may find that other units suit them just fine, but for the mid range pricing and the quality produced, the Samsung HW-J550 is a great first time buy. One thing, just wish the power cord to subwoofer was longer. Oh yeah, syncing to the TV and DVD movies was immediate unlike some other units, I found through research, where there was a lapsed time before the unit synced up with the picture. I highly recommend this unit to anyone.

I purchased an "excellent" rated open box item for $230 on Monday. It was delivered the next day. Perfect condition. Thus, I beat the Amazon price of $327, and had it sooner. I have a 2013 Samsung plasma but could not get it to pair it to the soundbar via sound share. The ARC HDMI method however works great with the tv remote which now handles power and volume on the soundbar. The sound is decent, but it is not truly a surround sound system like my old 5.1 Sony. It was a trade-off for less clutter in my family room. Overall, very happy.

Purchased this to go with my Samsung 4K Tv. Good sound for the money. Bass could be deeper. The wireless connection to the tv and subwoofer is great. No wires!! TV remote and Directv remote both control the volume.

Easy setup and sounds great. The selections are shown via a character display on the front of the Bar, better than some other low end sound bars I've seen. Good value for the money.

Love it. Does everything I would ever want or need in one convenient package! Even sync's with phone through Bluetooth to play music! Fantastic sound effects. Love night mode.

Sounds great. I read that the volume doesn't work with direct tv remote. I couldn't get it to work either. Today I installed my new genie sat box and it works

This system should improve virtually any onboard speaker system on any TV. It does get a bit distorted and garbled when pushed hard, but overall has plenty of headroom and power to fill the living room. The sub is quite nice, we set it at +4 (out of +6) in our room to bring a bit of extra fun and rumble. Using it via Bluetooth with our Samsung UHDTV means you can control the volume with the TV remote (was going to use with the optical setup but since the subwoofer is already wireless figured may as well just go 100% wireless on sound and do it all with one remote). Excellent value, pairs perfectly with modern Samsung TV's.

Amazing and powerful sound quality! I use the sound system it every day in my office and miss it when I am not there. Mounts to the wall easily as well.

Excellent value - I didn't set this up myself, but it's very easy to use. Although I still can't figure out how to get the volume to work from my main TV remote.

The sound bar sounds great and clear. First one I brought for my entertainment needs.

The package arrived quickly. Easy to mount under TV with provided template which positioned the hole perfectly. Connected with digital optical since the 2013 Samsung did not have HDMI ARC. Read about a firmware update on Samsun.com. Installed it via USB stick. It updated as expected, rebooted and the HDMI ARC worked even though the TV did not have it. Very happyt with that surprise.

Bought this sound bar after reading all the great reviews, and on the recommendation of two different salesmen at Best Buy. Took it home and set it up. Directions were clear, the sound bar was visually unobtrusive, and hookup was easy. Unfortunately, the sound is disappointing. I was hoping for some crystal-clear dialog and with a full, tight, low-end. It was not to be. While the low-end was ample, it was unnatural and a bit too "boomy". I'm not the kind of listener that wants to be blown away by a big, thumpin', shake-the-house low end. I'd like it to sound warm and rich... fitting seamlessly in with the other frequencies. While it's great to hear a big rumble for an explosion effect, or the thump of a kick drum and bass guitar on a music program, the sub woofer shouldn't constantly call attention to itself unnecessarily. As far as the dialog, I tinkered with settings for about 30 min and couldn't get anything I liked. I'm looking for articulate, natural highs that deliver clear, intelligible dialog. Couldn't quite get it. In a word, the sound of this unit is lackluster. Took it back. Spent a little more money and got the JBL CINEMASB350. Took that back as well. Ended up with the Sony HTCT780. Got this as a bundle with my 65" 4k samsung tv and it matches perfectly. I decided not to drill holes in the wall to mount it but rather used aftermarket mounting brackets that attach to the tv. It offers much improved sound over the tv and the only gripe is that the sound is sometimes delayed to the image at times. It is most obvious with internet streaming and using bluetooth connection.

If your looking to upgrade your sound out of your tv. Look no further. This will blow your mind. I watched American sniper when I brought it. It was amazing. With the surround sound mode on. You will actually hear sound behind your head!

I just bought this product from my local Best Buy tonight and I had it up and running within minutes. It hooked up wirelessly to my Samsung TV almost instantly. I highly recommend especially if you have a Samsung TV because everything synced up and worked the first time trying, as you would expect from Samsung products.

The sound was fine, but the reason i bought a Samsung was to use the Anynet Device functions, which did not work well. If you want to set it up and not use the Anynet functions, it is worth the price. If you wanted those functions, try elsewhere.
