    I purchased this TV on sale for Black Friday, brought it home and set it up. Picture was good, but it's a Smart TV minus the "Smart" part. Samsung's firmware was bad so none of the apps built in to the TV could be used. I tried adjusting every setting I could find and nothing worked. I finally contacted Samsung support and they said they were aware of the issue, said it was a global issue (all of their TV's), and that they had no ETA whatsoever for when it would be fixed. Researching online I found that this problem had been going on since February 2015. I ended up taking the TV back to Best Buy (great service on their part) and there was a line-up of other Samsung Smart TV's that had already been returned. I switched it out for an LG 55" Smart TV and the LG works perfectly!

      We're sorry to hear that you had trouble getting the Smart TVs to work. We aren't aware of any "global issues" regarding any of the Apps, and we're not sure why that was communicated to you. But we'll definitely look into the complaint to see that it doesn't happen again, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention.

    Huge crystal clear picture. Bright and sharp. Bought this to replace a 32" LG my mother in law had in my living room. Fills the room with picture and sound. The smart function works perfectly. Now I have no need for any other machines in order to watch Netflix or Amazon. Nice feature. Very happy with this product. If you are going to spring for a TV this big, you're going to want to get a sound bar and sub-woofer as well. The internal TV speakers work fine, but you won't get that big booming surround sound without an external speaker system. For price and quality, you can't beat Samsung. I won't buy any other.
