    Turned on the first time and i had a line down the middle. Samsung said it was a bad screen. They have now been to the house twice to replace and both replacement screens were also broken. I should have just gone back to the store and got a new TV.

    Very disappointed in this TV. 13 months after we bought this TV it began to give us trouble. It has a dark shadow vertical line in the middle of the TV and only has a year warranty. The TV was very expensive!

    Didn't think a 4K tv with 240 mHz refresh rate would have judder, but it does. I don't watch a whole lot of tv, so when I decided I didn't want to put up with it for years, of course I'm out of the 15 day return window. Now I am going through trouble shooting with Samsung & have to schedule a technician to come out.

    Beware of Defective Product!!

    The top left corner of my TV screen is seriously defective. It has a gap between the edge and the screen. Probably gonna return this unit and get another one. I'm very disappointed with Samsung.

    I bought this tv and it spontaneously powered off never to turn back on within 24 hours. Best Buy was great with returning it. I bought this to replace a 6000 series Samsung plasma. I thought the plasma had better picture despite this being a 4K television. Because I didn't want to chance having another Samsung grenade in a day, I bought a Sony XBR850. The 850 did not have the "soap opera effect" like the Samsung so in that regard I'm happy with the Sony. However, neither have the picture quality or fluidity of the old plasma.

    Amazing picture but sadly failed after 5 years. My other two Samsung tvs that are older are still running strong.

    nice idea with the smart remote but a little too complicated. Amazon Prime no longer works while on old TV it works without problem. Sound is great, picture quality great.

    Needed a new display 6 months into the warranty. Now one and a half years old and out of warranty and the replacement display went bad again. However, the cost of a replacement display is more than I originally paid for the TV. During the time the TV was working, the picture was beautiful. I suggest buying an extended warranty.

    First off, depending on your idea of what type of picture you prefer on your TV this might work for you. However, it did not work for me. None of the colors were true and the black depth required for richness was missing. If you aren't watching in 4k this TV is unable to "dumb" itself down for a good picture quality. I found myself completely annoyed with the lime green grass in a field or the orange faces of people. Also, if you want to mount the TV to the wall you can't due to the little box that hangs from it for all of your hookups. I returned this TV and bought a Sony 4k. I am MUCH happier and highly recommend the Sony over this TV. The Sony has true color and is wall mountable. Also, the Sony can play 4k perfectly and still play regular HD without a hiccup. Your pic quality is perfect on the Sony. So in all - depending on what you find a preferable picture the Samsung may or may not work for you. I prefer true colors and therefore was very unimpressed with the unrealistic colors in Samsung.
