    The quality of the TV was great, although after about 30hrs of usage on the tv, there was a black line coming down the middle of the screen. Must of been a defective unit.

    I’m actually super upset about this tv. We purchased February 18, 2017. Loved it. Never a complaint. Today out of no where it showed colorful lines all across the tv screen. Nothing we did worked. Had to go out and buy another tv which I really didn’t want to do. Considering I spent $1,400 on the thing A YEAR AND 5 MONTHS AGO. Really mad me angry. Thought TV’s were one thing Samsung could make correctly. I will never buy another Samsung in my life. Point blank.

    This is a great TV but apparently it wasn't manufactured well. The TV started flickering on and off after only a year and a half...

    Purchased 55 inch Samsung, delivery and set up included. Product failed operating properly almost immediately. Picked up by Geek squad and returned to Best Buy with no indication of refund after more than two weeks. Required several phone calls and almost 4 hours on phone to resolve proper refund. Definitely would not order anything online from Best Buy after this experience.

    It fell apart it wasn't best buys fault a manufacturer issue take my advice always get the GEEK INSURANCE

    The Pictures Look as Good as 3D!

    I bought this TV after returning a 55 inch Sony high end TV. I returned that TV after it continually locked me out due to protection issues related to the HDMI standard when using my 4K DirecTTV box. Best Buy was happy to accept the returned TV and with the Salesman's help we chose the 8000. The TV looked good in the store, but I have to say when we got it home and plugged into our 4K DirecTV receiver, we were all amazed. The picture is so good it is mesmerizing! It was simple to set up and the remote is intuitive, even for my non-techy wife. The remote controls both my TV and the Directv. The integration of the Directv control with the TV controls is seamless. Unlike the Sony, this TV works great with the DirecTV and took no additional setup, just plugged it in. I am a very particular, highly technical user, and I simply good not ask for a better TV!

    My tv is now blinking on and off..no help from Samsung. Lots of reviews on the web..outside of bestbuy.com regarding this ongoing issue. Sad thing is, last month I purchased SIX Samsung smart tvs for my newly finished basement. Wish that I could return them all! Lasted 26 months without regular use.

    I did a lot of research before purchasing this TV. The picture quality is so crisp and clear. Visible even in a bright living room during the day. The TV is easy to set up and is super slim and aesthetically pleasing to the eye. It is way smart. There is still so much I am learning in regards to the SmartTV aspect of it but you can link you HBO, Pandora, and many other accounts for quick access through the apps tab. I had plenty of outlets to plug in the DVD player, soundbar, Laptop and Google Chrome to be able to access whatever I may need to throw up onto the screen. It really is a wonderful purchase so far.

    This TV crapped out after a year and a half. This was a $1400 TV when I bought it in Dec 2016. Now I am paying more than $200 to have it repaired within the first two years? My Sony Bravia lasted for 12 years without a single problem. Will never buy another samsung product.

    When I say I've owned over 75 televisions it is no joke. I have owned every brand from the cheap magnavox to a current television that cost about 11 thousand dollars after taxes. We take part as a family pre screening new movies for awards considerations. CLARITY IS EVERYTHING TO US! This television out performs the 11 thousand dollar tv in clarity and style as well. That's why I moved it into my personal office where I spend days and nights. I was then asked to get another to replace the location in the house I took this one from. THE CKARITY IS BAR NONE! I haven't ever seen anything as good as this television. The price is a STEAL! I know all about refresh rates and in actuality I'd say this 55 inch outperforms the specs listed. I'm using basic cinnamon hdmi cables and it's clarity is so INCREDIBLE. the sound crisp and clear. I have converted original 1959s broadcast tv shows and it up converts them to a clarity I've never EVER SEEN! The interface is the very best. I don't understand how this television is so well priced! I could see it costing 5 grand compared to its competitors like SONY which is in the garage and Panasonic which is just in a closet. GET IT YOU WONT REGRET IT! It is wid with the stylish chrome legs. Which imo top off the look of the TV rather than what looks like the backend support suspension most other tv's gave as a stand. Don't get me wrong other great tv's are definitely available, but if you want the best television with class and style, functionality and an incredible picture and sound. Buy this before it's to late. I've seen this happen before. When an amazing television slips through the cracks priced to sell to compete and destroy competition this one is it! It is THE VERY BEST and yes it is more clear than this 11 thousand dollar 70 inch... motion pictures are our lives and what we do so, I'd say we know what we are talking about.

    This TV is amazing! Easy to set up. The picture is awesome, just like they claim for HDR - colors are more vibrant, blacks are deeper. I have a Samsung phone, so screen sharing is built in and so easy! Now for the two negatives... One, I don't care for needing an extra cord and device in order to use the TV at all (although, with the TV being so thin, I can understand the need). Two, the TV is slanted from being thicker on the bottom to thinner on the top, so you need two different lengths of bolts to do a wall mount. I bought the $100 Rocketfish mount, so it came with different lengths of bolts. Overall, though, I'm VERY pleased with this purchase.

    Great tv until 2 months after warranty expired. Screen goes on and off quickly. Replaced power board, nope. Replaced main board board, nope. Leaves the screen as problem. So tv cost me over 1k a year.

    I have had problems with this tv ever since I bought it. It started to power cycle then Samsung sent out a new main board to fix the problem and the new main board made the tv worse and now it's not watchable. This has been frustrating and will never buy a Samsung tv again.

    Incredible picture Great sound This tv meets all my needs Excellent for 4k HDR Gaming my PS4 Pro looks fantastic and there is very low input lag in game mode and hdr mode also 4k Blu Ray movies look fantastic very real looking and the colors really pop out on the screen, deepest blacks I've seen on any tv I have owned in the past this tv comes very close to oled technology at a fraction of the cost also some owners don't like the one connect box to hook up all your hd devices I love it makes it so easy to switch out ports when needed so in conclusion thank you Samsung and Bestbuy you have a customer for life!
