Amazing picture, Smart TV feature is easy to set up and use. No complaints. Highly recommended.

I got this on sale for $999.00, otherwise I would have returned it. First, unless you have lots of 4K content to view, you will not see the quality of picture you see in the store. Second, the blacks and darks are really poor, displaying as a blotchy paint-by-number look that is far inferior to my 8 year old Sony Bravia. I haven't had this TV calibrated yet so I am hopeful that will help with the black and other dark colors. For some reason, prime time dramas seem to have a fair amount of judder that does not show up on live TV such as news and sports. It has a nice, easy to use remote but if you have cable or dish you will end up using those remotes anyway. The smart features are OK and if you do not use a streaming player you may find them useful but if you use Roku or another streamer you will probably prefer them to the "smart" features. I have another 4 year old Samsung HDTV and I never use its "smart" features either. There is no printed manual and the integrated e-manual is poor, often just listing features without explanations of what they are or how to use them. An "index" of the e-manual consists only of a few predetermined topics and the manual as a whole is not searchable. You can download a manual, but this should, too, is not searchable. The unit only has HDMI inputs, and only three of those so if you have legacy components plan carefully. If using a receiver, the optical sound output will sync nicely with cable programming, Blu-Ray, and steaming media players. I did buy a new HDMI cable for my Premier+ Roku player because it and the TV could not regularly complete the handshake for HDMI 2.2 required for HDR content. (CNET says most people won't need new cables, even for HDR content). So, can you enjoy watching on this television? Yes, but probably for a price greater than you would need to spend. Just remember, what you see in the store is not, in all likelihood, what you will see at home.

This Samsung 55" 4K Ultra HD TV is the best TV I've ever owned. Easy to use. connects easily with other devices. I was a little skeptical of the external device connection box at first - but when I realized all the connection cables didn't need to run up the wall to the TV but live with the rest of the home theater equipment - i've had no issues.

This TV's picture is amazing. HDR will blow you away. I do wish there was more content out there. Especially sports but it's on its way. You wont regret buying this tv.

This is the television I had been looking for ! Great sound , clear picture and bright colors.

Looked at a lot of reviews before purchasing and this has matched or exceeded all expectations.

I say good but it's not perfect. I can't tell much difference between my 4K tv and my older tv. I have all the expensive 4K hdmi cords, 4K DVD player, etc. Don't get me wrong it's a great picture but not any better than what I already had. I did have to exchange my first tv due to dead pixels. The second seems to be working fine except for the Netflix app. I have to reset the tv by unplugging it because the Netflix app freezes up. I read that it's a common problem with this tv and app. I would probably buy this again but I would recommend going to the store and visually judging the tvs.

Great TV, wonderful picture. Small bezel design is very attractive. I have two complaints however, the remote is basically useless if trying to incorporate the TV into my home theater system. The other issue I have is the terms of service for the Samsung Smart Hub. You basically have to agree to having all your TV habits transmitted to Samsung, who then can pretty much do what they want with the data, in order to use any of the smart functions, including voice activation.

This TV works very well. Ultra High Def is fabulous and the smart features make it very useful.

I was in paralysis deciding between the 8000 and 9000. After a couple trips to the store, a Best Buy guy said he recommends the 8000 because the difference is so minimal. He said you won't be disappointed. I went with his recommendation and I am very happy with the 8000. I was worried about motion blur and there is no issue at all. Sports are unbelievable. Maybe this will help if you are stuck between the two as well.

I got this tv on sale and couldn't be happier. I was looking online for a 4k t.v. with HDR for video games and this one was perfect for the price.

Easy to use with great features. Universal remote is easy to use and I live the voice control.

We had been eyeing this TV for quite some time, and when the price dropped to less than $1,000, we knew it was time to pull the trigger. What a great decision that was. The picture quality is fantastic, with a sharp and bright picture. The features of the TV also make it worth the money. Definitely would recommend this product.
