We loved this tv, the remote was simple and it was easy to use. The look was sleek and the tv itself was light. The only problem was that the tv broke after 3 years of use. One night the screen went green then the tv just didn't have any picture when on. Kind of disappointing but many its time to step away from Samsung and try a different brand.

Perfect size for any living room...the picture quality is unbelievably crisp and pure when using 4K sources...its even better when the auto dimming feature adapts to the lighting in the room...love the One Connect feature, as it helps streamline wiring when mounting the TV on the wall...voice command is accurate, even if the feds can hear your conversations.

Samsung Smart TV's are the only way to go!! They last longer and regardless of your tv use, it will serve you better than any other brand. Just be sure to try and learn to take advantage of all that it has to offer. You can save money by using their smart features. You won't need as many cable options, therefore less money spent monthly. I only buy Samsung now

Easy set up, easy to customize with a great picture and audio. I really like the single cable the comes out of the back of the TV as mine is hung on a wall. The connector box makes it easy to hook up DVDs, etc out of sight with only one cable to the TV. Now, I need to find 4K sources to appreciate the full clarity. Comcast does not have much 4K viewing!

I got this TV on sale after reading reviews from a leading consumer magazine. The 4k upconverting is well done and original 4k source material is breathtaking. There are no problems streaming from Netflix over my 5G network. The sound is better than average for a TV but I have it hooked up to a stereo for better sound. Almost as good as OLED for 1/3 the price.

I've owned this TV for officially 2 days and I just had to make a review of my purchase. I read many reviews before purchasing this TV and I can say most of the reviews didn't do this TV justice. Yes, the reviews are mostly positive, but they don't explain how beautiful this television truly is. For example: - I own this TV with an XBO One S and the picture quality is wonderful. I saw some reviews saying the picture quality wasn't the best. After playing with the settings, I can say that is not true. Although the XBOX is a complete home entertainment center in itself, I made sure to plug the XBOX and my cable box into the Samsung OneConnect Box separately from each other. This allowed me to create separate picture profiles for each type of source. My XBOX has a customized game picture profile and my cable box has a customized picture profile. -I can control everything with just the tv remote. This includes my XBOX, Apple TV, including all the apps. The buttons are easy to use and intuitive. -The voice control on the remote is very easy to use. I can control the volume, switch sources. It was easier to use than the voice functions on my XBOX One S. -Did I say the picture is beautiful? I'll update this review as needed, but I hope I won't have to....

The TV has crystal clear picture and great sound ! It looks so real to watch and colorful rations and action films like transformers are the best to watch on this tv. Good price too and my brother is thinking about getting of these now.

we shopped many and this has the best pic of numerous brands we saw.. This replaced our "main" set - a 40 in popular Japenese tv. which when purchased was top-of-the-line. couldn't be more satisfied. got it on sale, then saw add and received moneyback. total saved $400 off already on sale with no hassle. Easy connections (HDMIs) and ready for future i.e. 4k

I was going to hold out for OLED but my eight year old 46" LCD flat screen died. Had to bite the bullet and buy now. OLED still too much. But, I've been looking at this 8000 series Samsung 55" for a while and concluded through internet research this was the second best screen behind OLED. But hold on there, the regular price on this TV is $1299. That's still too high for my wife's budget. Went on sale for $999 leading up to super bowl weekend. I found an open box "NEW CONDITION", greek squad certified deal for $889. Pulled the trigger. Mounted on my wall now. Ok, this thing is a computer with a TV app. Very advanced screen interaction that's pretty easy to use. Can do anything. Remarkably thin and easy to mount. Very beautiful in design, no edges at all, everything is screen. The picture this TV produces is amazing. Looks like people will walk out of the screen. The biggest improvement over my LCD is the vibrant colors. No adjustments were necessary. Came out of the box calibrated perfectly. You see detail like you've never seen before (all those fox anchor babes are not quite as hot in this unforgiving format). This TV is "future proof", to the extent that any TV can be now a days. I'm very happy with my "second" choice. You will be too.
