This is by far the best tv I have owned. Without balling out on a Magnolia $$ tv this was the next best thing and like I said it was definitely worth it. If your looking for a standard hdtv buy cheaper, but if you want a quality, true 4k* display make it this one for the price

Did my homework before entering store on this one. Went with plans to go buy Sony yet upon viewing in store saw better qualitys in Samsung for what was difference of $100 which in reality is nothing for what will be tv for next 6 plus years. Go get one wow what a difference

I bought this tv as my last one died. While it took me a while to connect to my internet, I did get it hooked up. I'm not the best at these things so all things considered it was quite easy. Great picture and color. Once I got the hang of how to navigate it's easy to do .

My only complaint about this tv are the legs... I had to buy an aftermarket pedestal stand to get it to fit on my entertainment system... also the bolts needed to mount are 43/45mm long and don't come w standard mounts. Other than that this tv is amazing, especially for $999

I did quite a bit of research and the consensus seemed to be that the Samsung KS8000 delivered the best value and performance among the LED type 4K UHD TVs. I am not disappointed in the least. The only caution is that this TV does not have a great viewing angle. Picture quality begins to diminish rather quickly as one moves away from" dead center." Fortunately for me I have this set in the corner of my room with a circular sofa/love seat combination that keeps all viewing angles within an acceptable range. Those of you who may have seating positions at angles far beyond "dead center" will likely be somewhat disappointed in the quality of the picture at those angles. All reviews I've read mention this issue, and it is for real. Perhaps the stunning picture quality from the "dead center" position requires that the views from wider angles be of less quality. I'm not sure. All I know is that from "dead center" this TV is "right on."

The in store demo video does not come close to showing you what this TV can do. All shows look lifelike, with so much depth, clarity and color I can't describe it. It even puts depth and fluid motion into older movies.

Very clear picture and comes with a great remote. Very happy with my purchase.

I'm not much of a electronics guy. But the customer service guy told me about this tv. After the review and purchase I'm amazed at the quality of this tv. Compared to all the others I had this is fantastic! Picture alone blows me away. Would recommend this to everyone.

Watching football and NAT GEO puts at the game and in the jungle! Amazing clarity and sharpness! Speakers are surround sound quality. Browsing Netflix and YouTube are amazing! Communicates well with my wifi. Best TV I saw in the store and still feel it's the best out there!

The picture is excellent whether I am playing games, watching TV, or streaming 4k. Even the look of the TV itself is great. The only reason it does not get five stars is the remote. The power button is the entire front cover of the remote (at the top). This means you can barely touch anywhere near the top of the remote and it will turn your TV off. Not a huge problem, but annoying at times.

It has a great picture. The remote is sleek and intuitive in design and function. There is lots of inputs yet no s cable or rca cables? I guess those are outdated. The associate who helped us was very helpful and attentive with out being over bearing. It was an easy process.

Going in I knew it would look phenomenal but after that the headaches started popping up, if you don't purchase a samsung sound bar you'll have headaches with the remote sometimes not working with a different brand sound bar. Then if you like watching YouTube on it, you'll have to sign in every few days to YouTube because it forgets your sign in. But barring those two things its great.

It has all the features you could need in a tv. The Samsung 8 series compares really well to other brands, the picture quality is bright and clear. The only con would be that the borders of the tv are brighter than the center of the tv. Other than that the tv is great!

I bought the 2016 model of this tv and was not disappointed. Its extremely clear, with easy access to hdmi ports. Excellent for gaming. The only downside is how wide the stand is, which doesn't fit on my current tv stand without a plank of wood on top to support it.

I never thought I would own a 4K TV because I thought it wouldn't make any difference with how I watched entertainment. Boy was I wrong! This 4K UHDTV is beautiful! Never have I seen so much color with the high dynamic range. The 55" is perfect as it is big but not too annoyingly big for a mid-sized living room. I never thought having a Smart TV would be useful since I own a gaming console but it makes it a lot easier to stream my favorite TV shows and movies. You can even play music through it with the different apps available to download. Pairing this TV with a sound system and having an entertainment center is highly recommended. I purchased the 3.1 Samsung soundbar with woofer and we feel like we are at the movies when we are at home. Additionally, I own an Xbox one which is a value for its 4K player ability and plus it doubles up as a gaming system. I own several Samsung products and they are amazing. Must buy!

Christmas gift for our family. Decided to go with the 8000 model and LOVE it! Beautiful, vibrant colors and love the convenience of being able to send voice commands. Didn't even know that was a feature. We're technically challenged and have found it to be easy to use.

Best tv on the market. I don't like the curved version. But for the price this is the best tv on the market. No 3D. But nobody is making 3D sets anymore. Nobody likes 3D. Samsung is quality. Have have Samsung products for years and they are excellent. Highly recommend.

I love samsung products I waiting till the holiday to get a good deal on the TV. I saw the price it was way more than the 7000 series but man. There is a huge difference. Way faster deeper colors Battlefield 1 looks great with this tv. I would buy it again yes
