The HDR has a faded look, but the colors are great. As an Home Automation enthusiast, I would have hoped the Smartthings integration would have been delivered as promised. After more than a year ago, the promised features are missing. Deducting 2 stars for broken promises, but I would certainly recommend the TV for its picture quality.

Talked to a Best Buy associate a couple of times about it, decided on Samsung for the brand, and he led me to looking into the 7000 series. Then, I found out that the 8000 series was on sale for $50 more, and had twice the refresh rate. Went with it and have no regrets. Beautiful picture, and I'll be ready when all the streaming/ show providers start providing 4K quality. Until then, I have the PS4 pro to enjoy in 4K. Great TV!

The picture is stunning, I turned off a lot of the features that are supposed to make picture viewing better, I found it shadowy and blurring with those on. Once I adjusted the different picture settings, all I can say is this TV has a beautiful picture and watching it or playing games on it, is completely enjoyable. Well worth the cost!!

It upgrades the normal non 4k items to a quality I did not think was possible. It's like I'm watching from the set of the TV show I'm viewing as it's being shot. The 4kultra movies will blow you away. As good if not better than the movie theater I saw it in. Wish I could afford to have one in every room I have a TV in.
