Was told it did not need a TWC digital convertor. It does. 4k not coming through. I'll keep trying.

I returned this television for the SUHD model. This one does not have true HDR.

Image quality should be better for this type of tv. Not as expected.

Lots of features Great for sports and for viewing action

Picture quality is excellent , but almost returned it because WatchESPN app isn't available on this not so smart TV . Have to use ROKU to get the app with this TV , defeats the purpose of buying a smart TV

We have only owned the TV for 30 days, and we already had problems. Best Buy won't help and we are waiting to hear from Samsung. Less than ideal.

Samsung televisions are over rated, you pay for the name. The samsung tv i purchased was returned. The picture wasn't that great, a lot of blur when watching sporting events. I contacted Samsung to try to get the problem fixed. The stated the problem was my satellite source. So to make along storey short, i returned it, pick up a cheaper L.G. This unit has no blur when watching sports and it was $200.00 cheaper.

Didn't get the free trials,it tells me i don't have certain things i should have,tells me"It Loves Me"

Spent more than I had budgeted, but was excited to try this TV. The stand was poorly designed and after we struggled to get it on and plugged it in, there was a cracked down the middle of the TV. Needless to say, I returned it and purchased the TV in my budget.

Worst TV I have ever purchased. Dead line running through center of screen of 2 pixel width! Bottom of monitor has ugly greenish fog glow that bleeds into black and darker colors.

Since I have this TV, I have only trouble. First the picture was defective, then the network card broken twice. Will never buy a Samsung TV again.

I only have the TV now for a fee weeks and it already starts to have a wired looking picture. Some areas are too bright. I would not recommend this TB.

Only reason for 4/5 stars is I don't link Samsung using the term uhd instead of 4K although same thing lol Other wise This week I've returned my tv over dozen times for different exchange and finally happy to say after lg and Sony brand new under 1000 4K tvs etc The Samsung is of the highest quality From screen size, to width It is thin and sleek Even to the the silver trim finish The remote is even futuristic This is the Best Buy for under 1000 Right now on the market for hdr compatible 55 inch or larger 4K tv

I will never purchase another Samsung tv ever again the screens are made very poorly and crack very easy.

RIGHT SIDE OF SCREEN WENT BLACK IN 1 MONTH, AND ONLY USED 6 OR 7 TIMES IN THAT MONTH

First off, I was looking to purchase a TV with HDR capability for my room because I was going to upgrade to an Xbox One s. I actually brought this TV after seeing the display because it was on sale in store (the total price came to 840). It has exceeded my expectorations to the max. The universal remote can actually work with your PS4 or Xbox, but it does not allow you to go back within the apps (so you will have to close the entire app to go back to the system screen n the game system). The fact that this little remote can take the place of your ENTIRE theater system (with the right components) saves so much time, as you don't have to keep switching remotes. The picture is very clear, but if in room with natural light, you may notice a lot of glare. The sound this tv produces is superb in a smaller room till the point where you will not feel the need to purchase speakers. I found that when playing games, I would actually get motion sickness lol It's is irritating, but I think my eyes are just not adjusted to the fast action on a large scale. Another important fact is that you CANNOT set the HDR mode and the Gaming Mode at the same time. You have to pick one or the other. Overall this tv is amazing to watch movies on, controls many apps, and allows for decent gameplay (and I say decent due to the fact that I really can't play that long with out having to turn the system off due to motion sickness). I would recommend this tv to someone, but just make sure the place you are going to put it in has little natural light.

Samsung makes best 4k tv on market Have had sony and lg and picture looks dark and dull on both Tv very easy to sert up Only problem i have is remote Play and return bottons are sticken I called samsung and they are sending me another remote If you are looking for a nice tv at a good price Grab this one

Two months ago I got into my head that I wanted to replace my 3 yr old 55-inch Vizio TV. For no real reason other than I wanted a 4k television. While there's not a lot of true 4k content available at the moment, upscaling all my current content will be enough for now. With that in mind I set out on a journey to find the perfect television - no such thing exists. After returning 2 previous tvs - one because I really wanted HDR and the other due to backlighting issues, I settled on this one. I finally realized that paying a $700 - $1000 premium just to get HDR was stupid. This panel has HDR Premium - which is basically "fake HDR" because it doesn't conform to the specs for HDR 1000 nor Dolby Vision. But at $1000, it's really hard to quibble over that point. The upscaling is truly great and I noticed the difference over my Vizio right away. Even though I haven't used my 3D in 2 yrs, I still kind of miss not having it. Irrational I know. The TV has amazing, stunning really black levels, so far I haven't noticed any light bleed from the edge lit screen. In another review I complained about Samsung's remote but I am big enough to admit when I'm wrong. It's not intuitive at all, but once it's set up, it is kind of a dream to use. I connect my devices to the HDMI ports and the TV automatically found my AppleTV and configured the remote to work. It recognized my PS4 but remote doesn't work with that and I had to manually program it to work with my Tivo. It works fairly well with my Tivo Romio but not to the point where I can use it on a regular basis. The annoying thing about the TV is I had to program my Soundsystem for each separate HDMI Input and it won't turn it on/off. Just change the volume. The remote includes Voice Recognition that works surprisingly well, unfortunately it doesn't appear to work with most of the apps. But I am able to control some functions of my Tivo with it like changing channels by channel name or number, I can say record this program and it'll work. It's a little annoying it's 60% percent of the way to being a great universal remote, but I still need to use 5 different remotes to do everything. The sound quality on the tv is great, considering how thin this thing is. Samsung customer service was a pleasant surprise. I had apps crashing out of the box and went to the support site. Their online chat asked me if I needed help. They were able to log into my TV remotely and fix my issue with trouble. Very impressed. Best Buy's delivery guy came early in the window - which never happens for me and they moved TVs around for me prior to setting this one up. Overall, I think this is the TV I'm sticking with. At a $1K it's just future proof enough to satisfy me for the next 3 or 4 years.

Picture and sound are great. Easy set up. Good value for the price.

Bought this TV last week and could not be happier!!! Great for watching Sports and Gaming (PS4 and Xbox One). 4K with HDR (High Dynamic Range) and 4K upscaling is the way to go! Especially with the New Xbox One S that's about to come out and PS4 Neo which will take advantage of the HDR gaming play and then next year native 4K gaming with Xbox One Scorpio.
