    One Connect is the future

I was upgrading my flat screen in my bedroom. It was going way to easy, until the One Connection cable broke! One Connection cable is 14 ft, so I went up through the closet and then down to the TV. It is very delicate and can break easily. Make sure you buy the Samsung bracket. It's worth the $150.

Screen cracked within 2 weeks of purchase

This is the 3rd Samsung television that has given my family problems. I was a little worried about there not being a protective bezel when I first purchased this. The salesman sold me on this being better than an OLED TV and having the first lifetime warranty in the industry. Besides an inferior picture quality (in my opinion), the television must be extremely fragile. During the first marathon use, the TV began to crack on the lower right hand corner as I watched a movie on netflix. With more use, the crack continued to grow and the discoloration and other factors worsened. I contacted both bestbuy and Samsung about the issue. Unfortunately, they explained that their warranty would not cover a cracked screen. This television resided in my bedroom which was protected by a biometric lock. There was no impact to this TV of any kind that would have caused that crack. I eventually wrote a letter to the president of the Samsung company requesting their arbitration procedures. They never contacted me back since I filed the letter 3 months ago. For my family, I can never purchase a product made by Samsung ever again based on this 3rd and final experience. Please understand that I am only reporting my experiences and this TV may work out great for other people. I bought a cheaper Sony TV on the same day and it had better picture quality and works great. When I have enough to replace the broken Samsung, I'll be staying with the Sony lineup of OLED TVs. I hope this review may help someone else.

    Amazing

I reviewed this tv a lot before deciding to purchase it. Of all the cons I have seen I have to disagree with all of them. I have seen some motion blurring but only when playing video games such as Tom Clancy Ghost Recon Wildlands which is a huge game and requires a lot which is why I blame the Xbox and not the tv itself. Viewing angles,I find this subjective since the tv is backlit presumably around the edges you are going to see a difference when viewing from the side but I haven't had a problem with it. In short it is a great tv that I believe will last long enough for a price that isn't too outrageous. I recommend this tv to anyone who plays any console it is amazing!

    Same old problem

I just returned my old Samsung UN60JS7000 because it would turn on and off automatically when I turned the TV on. The TV was under warranty so I exchanged it for the OLED 55 inch flat screen. After one week the same exact problem came back again. It would turn on and off automatically upon turning on the television. I am so disappointed in Samsung. I have 3 other Samsung TV's that are older and have no problem at all. It's obvious they changes their parts in the new TV's. I would recommend going to a LG Oled tv.

This was the best looking TV when we bought it 2.5 years ago. The bottom 2/3 of screen is now (4/2020) blurry. For a really expensive TV, that is VERY disappointing. I will probably look at SMSNG again, as I really do like their TV’s but will pay the $70 for 5 year BBuy extended warranty. (Which I really think is crazy. This type of stuff should last at least 8 years. At least.)

Its a good tv, brought it in 2018, after 4 years we are having an audio problem. most of our apps' sound cut in and out. I tried resetting sound, still doesn't work as it should. Luckily we have the geek squad protection for this item.

    Great TV with 1 Flaw

I bought 2 of these TV’s. There is an issue with the speakers. The issue is on BOTH tv’s so its not just a random bad unit. The speakers make a static popping sound that only lasts a fraction of a second. Its the kind of sound you hear when plugging a wire into something and it makes that static noise until the plug is all the way in. Sometimes it wont happen for an hour. And other times it does it every 30 seconds for a couple minutes and then nothing for an hour. I dont have the volume very loud either. Not sure if theres some speaker or audio option i can change on the tv settings to help, but i know this shouldnt be happening.

      James,

Thank you for sharing your user experience with the Samsung Q7F QLED Smart TV. I am sorry that you are experiencing popping noise issues with your units.

The cracking sound might be caused by the expansion or contraction of the unit's metal or plastic material in response to temperature changes. While these noises are harmless to the TV's function, here are a few tips on how to reduce the expansion that may cause the noise:
      1. Ensure there is enough ventilation for the set.
      2. Make sure there are not any heating or a/c vents pointing directly to the TV.
      3. Make sure the TV is placed on a flat and level surface.

I hope this helps to solve the issue for you.

      FATTONY801,

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung Q7F QLED 4K Smart TV. I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing issue with the TV turning itself on and off.

Please try a few trouble-shooting steps that may help to solve the issue :
1.Check the Invisible Connection Cable for damage and proper connection.
If the Invisible Connection Cable is bent, broken, kinked, pinched, pressed excessively (possibly by a heavy object on top of it) or damaged, this is the cause of the issue. Replace the cable.
2.Unplug the TV from the wall outlet for 30 seconds, and then plug it back in.
3.If the power cycling allows enough time in between powering on and off, try updating the TV to the latest Firmware. Simply click on the link and update TV with the latest version 1151.0:
      https://www.samsung.com/us/support/owners/product/2017-qled-tv-q7f-series#manuals

If the issue persists after these steps, then the TV will need service.
Please contact us so that we can better investigate your issue and assist you towards a solution or replacement.
