This is my 2nd Samsung TV purchase and have been very impressed with the brand. This newer model has all my requirements such as great picture, wireless network access, smart TV, and apps. We had been watching Netflix on a Blu ray player before, but now that this new TV has wireless we watch on it. The playback, streaming processor is great. Much better than on Blu-ray. Like the simplified TV remote. Overall, very satisfied with the purchase. Especially for the holiday price.

Great picture quality and online connectivity.. Easy to setup and use

I've had and have several other samsung leds and plasmas over the years, ranging from the 6 to the 9 series. In looking at floor models before purchasing this one I must say that it seems the series numbers now are a more obvious and differentiated indicator of overall picture quality than they have been in the past. This TV has ok-at-best anything but 4k. So 1080, 720, 480 (most current cable, satellite, etc.) aren't very well upscaled...but maybe it is the refresh rate and my daily experience with a different super-tv that gives me that perception: That super-tv is an about 4-year-old un46d6420 (6 series) 3D/480Hz that to this day I would probably fight you and your army to keep. It is simply phenomenal. Back to this TV: PRO -maximum backlighting is not much if that is important to you. -4k is quite decent with minimal judder that I can see -OS/menu structure is a very pleasant change from that of older Samsungs -Smart remote is a winner in my book CON -upscaling anything results in a less-than-spectacular picture -bluetooth from the tv (using BT headphones) I would give a 1 out of 5. It is almost to the point that line-of-sight is required and more specifically to the right side of the TV. I mean just poor. Also note if headphones or wireless detached sound is important to you, bluetooth is the only option without a separately purchases adapter or receiver (TV has optical audio out). Regarding bluetooth experience note that I was testing with a pair of headphones that work flawlessly from other sources. Ultimately I'm still giving this TV 4 stars because I knew what I was buying, I knew there were better options available, and this meets my expectations for the price range and size. It is a value for a 55" quality-4k tv. So I've made even myself dizzy writing this, one of my poorer reviews, but hopefully you can glean some useful information.
