Smart but too demanding
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We decided to shift gears from a Mitsubishi DLP we bought in 2007 after buying way too many bulbs. After previous success with other Samsung models, we looked at this one with the smart remote and the corresponding unit with the basic remote. Since the basic remote unit was unavailable, we went this route. Long story short, love the TV, hate this "smart" remote. All of the functions of a normal remote are compacted into, what mimics, an Apple TV remote. The problem that exists is there are too many options on the TV for this to be efficient. I had to pay more for a TV with a smart remote, that I didn't want. I will recommend this TV but not with the smart remote.

This television offers Superb quality and an extraordinary picture. I am so very pleased with my purchase and I just know I will be able to enjoy this television for years to come. I am quite happy and have been so pleased with all of my Samsung purchases!!

Pleased with my purchase
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had the tv for a few weeks and I'm pleased with the picture quality, and all the smart tv features, like using the tv remote to control apps on my PS4. The one downside has more to do with the externals, for instance I have no confidence in the tv stand as it is extremely wobbly and had the tv not been delivered I would have returned it based on a this alone. There were also a couple scratches upon taking it out of the box.

Good tv for now and the future

The smart remote was a little different getting used to. If you are replacing an existing wall mount tv, keep in mind that the mount (most importantly the screws) may not fit the new tv. Unfortunately, the manufacturers can't afford to include 4 mounting screws and the instructions aren't very clear. A solid tv with a few installation stumbles.
