What a steal! Im glad my wife said "why dont we get the 55" for 470 instead of a 42 or whatever for 350" because i eyed this thing from the second i got into the store.....she was hooked once the tv was on and can now tell the difference between regular tv and hdtv. Even my 13month old had a say in all this,he upgraded our netflix to include 4k and holy cow what a difference

Was looking for a good price on a 55 inch 4K tv. You can't beat the $499 price tag. This one was the answer. It's the best brand I could get for my budget, and I'm glad I looked around. After only one day, The picture quality is great, sound is wonderful. I will update if I have any issues, but this blows my other recent purchase (a 70 inch Vizio 4K) out of the water.

This tv is amazing. There isn't much you can't do with it! The picture quality is better than any tv I've ever owned. Detail is clear, sound is amazing. I love that you can change the theme of the picture and sound in the settings, it makes for a better quality of viewing! Easy to use apps, loads of features, a definite win for us, since we scored this beauty on sale!

Overall, this TV is definitely worth the price you pay. I have 4 gaming consoles and a smart blu-ray player so I wasn't extremely interested in the premise of a smart TV at first. However, I still find myself going straight to the TV to go to YouTube or other web apps due to the convenience and ease. Amazing picture quality and very happy with the HDR function.

I am SO in love with this tv. To be fair, I upgraded after having the same 32" flatscreen for so many years, I got it back when the thin flat screen TVs were still like 6 inches thick at the least. So an upgrade was desperately needed. I didn't even consider any brands besides Samsung, due to my trust in the brand. The size of 55" is perfect for my medium-sized living room. The speakers do face the rear of the TV, so I had to buy a soundbar to be able to hear movies without driving my neighbors insane on the other side of my wall. The TV speakers however, are still better quality than I've seen on most fancy TVs like this one. I love being able to stream hulu and HBO directly on the tv, and switch inputs and apps while still running my previous apps in the background. The remote only has a few buttons, and my husband and I absolutely LOVE it. It's really easy to get used to, and the simplicity of it makes it way easier to use than the big bulky remotes with a zillion number and menu buttons and random other buttons you never actually use, ever. I have recommended this model of TV to many friends, and I am incredibly happy with the purchase. Doesn't hurt that I got it for a GREAT price during the Black Friday sale, and delivery to my house was free.
