I bought this TV three month ago and I love it! last week I even bought the 40" version for the bed room. The TV has everything you need: sharp photo, high motiom rate, smart applications, great web browser (which is not that common in today's smart TV), and good sound. The smart controller is very easy to use and the price of the TV is pretty low. highly recommend

Black bar in middle of screen when I first started tv upon delivery. Don't know if it was caused by shipping or bad quality check from samsung. I would avoid to be safe.

I have had for a month and I have had to call Samsung twice now to remotely reset because it freezes and nothing works not even the remote.

After 2 an half years of use screen started to have purple patches, I used to love this tv. So disappointed!!!

Always had issues with this TV and broke down just after the warranty expired.

I'll let you know in a few more months when I get the full feeling of the tv

I bought this realizing it's virtually the KU6300 with a different (simpler) remote, no bluetooth and no component. For the $479 Black Friday price, I think it's worth it. I would definitely recommend turning off the motion smoothing and playing with some of the other picture settings to fine tune the picture. Also it should be noted that HDR is only available on HDMI 1. So if you have a PS4 Pro or Xbox One S, that's the input you'll want to utilize. Audio Return Channel (ARC) has been delegated to HDMI 3. 4K video and gaming content look excellent and so far I haven't notice any input lag when gaming in 4K with HDR. I will update this review if any issues rear their head, but so far I'm very happy with this "budget" 4K set.

Picture quality is great, vibrant colors and deep blacks produce an excellent 4k viewing experience. Bought during Black Friday and paid less than $500. The controller is less than one would want with a new tv, but as we use our cable provided remote for everything; it serves it's purpose.

I bought this to replace my older 55" LG 1080p and I put next to this Samsung playing the same movie and there's a huge difference !! Even just regular hd movies the color is so much live and the movement in the movie is so natural so easy to use bought on black Friday sale for $479 before tax

I love the TV so far. Upgraded from a 2009 32" vizio 720p. What a huge difference in picture. Love the smart features and apps integrated into this television. The sound of the TV is good out the box but got a samsung soundbar for that extra punch. Writing this review using Web Browser on TV. Cool feature. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this purchase.

I always buy Samsung products and of course this tv was no exception, I always have people asking me about my settings because the tv has great picture, 100% recommended

I LOVE this tv! The last time I purchased a brand new big screen tv was in 2011. 4k UHD Smart TV for this price and by Samsung is a steal! Samsung products is my second choice (Sony First) when purchasing any home electronics. The only thing is if you don't have an updated surround sound or Bluetooth sound bar you cannot use it with this tv. I didn't realize that until we got home. I do wish the "Premium Sound" on the tv was better but hey that's why they make surround sound!

Replaced my older True HD LG with this 4k Samsung. Wow... night and day. This TV just blew me away after watching movies, sports and playing games. Thanks best buy for making this affordable.

Great price, good picture. Refresh rate isnt the best, when watching hockey can see some blur but it isn't horrible. A lot of problems with Netflix with is very annoying.

It's been my TV for 5 years already, still working good, just a little bit slow, the picture quality is still great and was amazing when I bought it, right now I use it with Netflix, YouTube, Amazon, Disney Plus and other apps, the sound quality is good for the tv and for my needs and it is perfect for a medium size living room

I was contemplating between this Samsung 55 inch 4K Ultra HD versus LG to replace my previous LG TV. I am extremely pleased with my purchase - it's easy to operate, the image is crisp clear & sharp, and the sound is amazing! The TV setup is a breeze and I managed to set everything up, and have it hooked up to my AppleTV is less than 30 minutes!

Wife wanted a big TV and I wanted a TV on budget; our targets gets us on this Samsung 55inch 4k TV on sale. The TV is, well, huge for our place. Not overtly heavy but hardly manageable by one person. The picture quality is okay. I have one of older Panasonic TV with IPS panel and the color was much more accurate on an IPS panel compared VA panel used by Samsung in this and other TVs. The onscreen controls to fine tune picture and sound are ridiculous. For example, to tune the colors, the onscreen menu takes up so much screen space that you can not really look at a color target to achieve your preference. Whoever designed that interface should be fired. The smart features are okay. There is an inbuilt web browser that freezes if you run Youtube video in 4k resolution. Overall, 4K in this TV seems like a gimmick. The difference between 4k and 1080P are almost indistinguishable. This TV comes with decent speakers BTW. There is a barebones manual that was shipped with the TV. The real manual is online; so, if you need to troubleshoot, make sure to have a tablet or laptop nearby. Supplied base has a major component made of plastic! So, besure to handle your TV with baby gloves. It wobbles anyway. There is an assortment of IO ports that will be enough to keep you going for the long run.
